After learning of the lies and deceits that Casey spews, I do think she could easily have put a drugged Caylee in the car / trunk during the last few weeks of her life. The back seat of her car opened into her trunk, and I've wondered if the "air mattress" could not have served a dual purpose. She could have easily been knocking her out, even with overOTC benadryl /diphenhydrmine, to be able to party hearty her nights away. As a nurse, I have tried to look closely at Caylees eyes and facial coloring in her later photos. The dark circles around her glassy ( at times) eyes, and discoloration around her mouth concerned me. If the windows were cracked, the car would not have been that hot at night. I also wondered about her " leaving the room" for phone calls was not an excuse for her to go & check her car. These are purely speculations on my part, but given the duct tape horror,I do think she was quite capable of this, so I voted yes.

No drugs in Caylee's hair.

Caylee wouldn't have survived even an hour in KC's car trunk in the summer. If Caylee was locked in the car she could have popped up and been seen. She would have screamed unless gagged. Duct tape over her mouth would have pulled skin off when removed.

And besides, before Tony, KC didn't need a babysitter. Until May 25 and the "No Clothes Party" KC was able to get Cindy to babysit by saying she had to "work". There is testimony & pictures that show sometimes KC brought Caylee along to parties.

Ricardo tolerated sharing his apartment and bed with Caylee. KC was with Ricardo the VERY morning of the day KC declared Tony her official boyfriend. It isn't like KC went through any dry spells between men.

KC was officially with Tony a whole 6 days before she killed Caylee.

I voted unsure..

Why the need for the inflatable bed. CA claims she used it when she went to Zanny's house, yet KC has said Zanny had everything for Caylee..so wouldn't that be a bed included..

I am still on the fence with this...

I think KC got the inflatable bed hoping to wean Caylee out of Ricardo's bed with the lure of a cool, new bed in the SAME room as mommy.

Or she could have got the bed to sleep in when there was the group party where Caylee is pictured playing in a big yard with KC's friends.

On two checks written from Cindy's account there is the notation, (camping) in the lower left hand corner of the check. Maybe KC said she needed the inflatable bed to go "camping with Zanny" or "camp on Zanny's floor". But, she really wanted Caylee to use it in Ricardo's room. One of the "camping" checks was for $200. If the bed was part of KC's "camping supplies" she probably had to drag it around for awhile and act like she was using it. Even IF Caylee didn't go for it and still insisted on sleeping with mommy.

Awesome Jolynna:blowkiss:...........Thank you for making this so clear for us (me for sure!) I change my vote now from Unsure to NO. The baby was in the trunk after she died - for a length of time that makes my skin crawl.

I voted no because I believe that Caylee was already deceased when she put her in the trunk. I am not sure though (as I don't believe we will ever know) of how KC killed her.

I voted NO. I don't believe Caylee was placed in the trunk prior to her death.

I don't believe she put Caylee in the trunk anytime prior to her death as I doubt she would have survived it. 'If' Caylee survived such an event, she would have been traumatised and clearly that would have been obvious to the A's. I also think leaving her in the backseat with the windows partially down would also have traumatised the child.

I've been hoping for some LE/FBI interviews where any of those friends mention KC using that inflatable bed at there home. I'd like to know when and where she really used it.

Also, from the interviews that mention how Caylee clinged to KC, I came to the conclusion that the big reason CA would want KC home in the evening was due to not being able to get Caylee to go to bed at night without KC there.

I voted unsure, however, during the day Caylee would not have survived the intense heat.I am NOT CONVINCED,that there is not something to the vacant house that "Marina" sp?,checked on. I find it impossible to believe that the PI's searched this yard,"for the heck of it" There must have been a tip off of some sort.I would feel more comfortable knowing that LE checked this place out.Maybe "the nanny" is not a person, but a place,an object.KC could have used this mattress almost anywhere, but do not believe it was the car,but I'm not sure!!

I'm unsure because there's no understatement in saying that addictions can trump reason and judgement. I think her need for connection and to prove control would win every time. If her attachment to Caylee was possession rather than true caring or love I'm sure she justified her decisions regarding temperature and visibility of the car by using that learned ability from CA about 'gut feelings'. If it felt OK to KC, then it was OK. She may have gotten away with it a few times. I wonder how old KC was when she realized that her mother's 'gut feelings' had absolutely no credibility.

What I'm not sure about is whether she left Caylee's body in the car after death. I keep thinking that the 'fluid' deposit was made in a clumsy transfer of the body from one location to another. Who knew a bit of seapage could create so many problems, eh KC? Sure made her scramble. I wonder when the canvas laundry bag went missing from the house? If they only had one, there may be a recent receipt for the one retrieved from the home in December. Sorry if that's already been answered ... I haven't searched the receipts.

No. I don't believe she ever left her in the trunk to sleep or whatever. I don't think Caylee was left in the trunk after she was murdered either. I think she moved her in the trunk, but not that she was ever kept there for any length of time.

I don't think she was ever placed in the trunk before she was murdered but I do believe that she was in the trunk for a couple days before Casey took her and dumped her in the woods. I believe that because of the amount of fluid found in the trunk and I think Casey was trying to decide where to take her.

How could KC leave Caylee in an empty house or her car undrugged? She wouldn't even take a nap by herself.

Nor was there a need for KC to leave Caylee in an empty house or car.

The week of Cindy's birthday, Cindy was home and says she babysat almost every day. The following week, KC takes Caylee with her to Tony's during the day. Tony and his friends say so. Caylee was along helping to distribute Fusian flyers. Caylee went along to pick up Tony's car and Tony took her and KC to Subway. Tony's roommates watched cartoons with Caylee during the afternoon when KC and Tony were "busy" in Tony's room.

On Fusian nights, somebody from the Anthony house called KC and made her come home at 3 a.m. twice before June 16. Cindy most likely wanted KC around the next morning to watch Caylee because she had things to do. Or maybe Caylee woke up, found KC gone and was throwing a fit because she wouldn't sleep alone.

If KC was leaving Caylee someplace tied up, there would have been marks. And Caylee would have talked. "Mommy tied me up" is well within an almost 3-year-old's vocabulary.

Noddy without labeling KC you explained her thought patterns so eloquently! Also I keep in mind a 21/2 yr. old doesn't have the skills to express an intense fear. These behaviors come out in a small childs play as being irritable, shying away, unhappy ect... and can be misconstrued by on lookers as normal toddler feelings. Some toddlers in Caylee's age group even act out their abuse (sexual, or battering) on their playments. Also a toddler will cling to the abuser (mom ex.) because they do not know any different. With the what we know now adding in the 911 calls before June of 08 tells me it wasn't all peaches and cream in the Anothony home for Caylee. More like high anxiety in my opinion.

I voted No.

1) Leaving a child locked in a car is not compatible with life, especially someplace like FL.

2-a) Caylee would have screamed bloody murder if she was awake when KC put her there. Or if she woke up and found herself alone and locked in a trunk.

2-b) There is no way she could have taped Caylee's mouth shut, then removed the tape, without leaving a large red irritation. Not just the occasional little red splotches we see. Irritation from tape looks more like a bad, blistering burn, than a rash and it's worse around the edges of the tape. (so the outline would be obvious.)

3) Caylee would demonstrated true fear of KC following such an incidence. And according to Shirley, Caylee spoke clearly, she would have ratted KC out in a heartbeat.

4) Opening the trunk to put down the inflatable is way more effort than I can see KC doing for Caylee. She would have to remove all the junk in the back and move the carseat. Nope, I just don't see it.

5) Maybe I misunderstood, I thought Cindy said the inflatable was for when they both spent the night at Zani's. Isn't it odd no one mentions the inflatable except Cindy? If KC brought it to RM's wouldn't he have said "She slept in my bed or sometimes KC brought an inflatable? Possibly it was from a boyfriend prior to RM who wasn't comfortable with the whole "family bed".

6) KC was not that in tune with Caylee that she could have safely left her in the car to sleep and still check on her on a regular basis. Waiting for someone to call her, then use the call as an excuse to go outside would have only worked if she knew for sure the phone was going to ring!

7) If KC had walked outside to take a call/ check on Caylee and found her awake, she either would have been outside for a very long time getting her back to sleep, or returned to wherever she was staying, with Caylee. "Hey, look who I found wandering around outside!" would have been a memorable event.

8) It did sound like Caylee was experiencing some issues sleeping thru the night. I can't really picture Cindy waiting until 3 am to call KC to come home just because KC missed her 2:50 am curfew. Caylee waking up at 3 and waking up the whole house because she wasn't used to sleeping alone makes much more sense.

All very good points, missmybaby. I voted no, but I have to admit that when I first started following this case, I thought Casey drugged Caylee with Xanax and put her in the trunk (and that the trunk was the "nanny"). But taking into consideration the Florida heat, and no drugs found when they tested Caylee's hair, well, that kinda throws that theory out the window. (IMO)

All of that, plus all the points that missmybaby said, it's just not feasible.

Although, if Casey had thought of putting Caylee in the trunk, or thought it was feasible, I wouldn't put such an act past her.

Hey, Mama! Born in Indianapolis, so.. me too!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I do beleive that the only person that mentions that Caylee would only sleep with KC,is CA and we all know how truthful she is! This might be just another example of feigned attachment that CA wants us to believe. Also if Caylee did not sleep in own bed,why did she need to wash the bedding so frequently? Also didn't CA mention on GVS,that the dogs kept looking for Caylee in her bed?

Exactly! CA was her most frequent caregiver. CA said that, herself.

Good points, FORDANIEL! Yeah, CA was the one that said Caylee needed KC in order to fall asleep. I don't know how much faith I would put in any of her statements about the type of relationship KC and Caylee had.

I still would find it really difficult to believe anyone would be able to put a live 2 year old in a car trunk. In the heat, the child wouldn't survive. Even without the heat, I just think that someone would have found out. There would have been some sort of evidence of this.

I voted "not sure" on one hand I don't think that she did leave her there before the baby was killed but on the other hand this girl has done so many things that a normal person would not and could not have done that I just cant be certain that it was "out of her realm" at all.

I'm not sure if KC was using the trunk as a babysitting method prior to June 16th. I still wonder if she wasn't using chloroform to keep Caylee asleep while she was out partying at times when she couldn't get a babysitter. So, for that reason, I chose "unsure".

Hi Brini! I was born and raised in NW Indiana...and I'm still here :bang: LOL

I have a question for those who think Casey used the trunk as a baby sitter. Where and how did she get the baby into the trunk without being seen? This is a genuine question, I'm not being snarky. I'm interested in your theories.
