TES fly under the radar??? I'm certain I saw TM on NG talking about this case many a time! And so he should....flying under the radar doesn't get you funding, and without funding, TES could not operate.

I was talking about the local group of searchers that stayed on in the Central Fla. area. Plllleeaaazzzzzzzzeeeee!

If it were about justice for Caylee, the money would be donated anonymously with no strings attached. LP, if his only interest is justice, would search quietly, without intentionally creating a media circus everywhere he goes. At this point it IS about movie companies, wanting to make a profit - that's what this 'deal' is all about.

The fact is, LP has no more idea than anyone as to where little Caylee's body is. His whole search effort is NOTHING but a staged media event. When and if there is credible information as to Caylee's whereabouts LE will resume the search, quietly and with the dignity little Caylee deserves.

ITA. When money is donated to TES, it IS without strings attached. It is donated to cover the cost of searches, not for exclusive media rights.
The money someone is wanting to donate to LP does have strings attached. I do agree, LP is b/t a rock & a hard place. If the company wanting to donate the money, they should donate it with no strings attached. Then the motive by them is sincere, only to find Caylee, not to make a buck off her.

As much as I would like Caylee to be found and laid to rest properly, I don't think having her remains found on camera would be a dignified way to do it. This is all about justice and dignity for Caylee, isn't it.

I have nothing against LP, but he has inserted himself into this case and I wonder if he would be involved if cameras were not around. Now I'm not saying that he doesn't care about Caylee, but I think he cares about himself first and foremost.

The other day while LP and divers were at JB Park and they brought up the bag with the toys in it. It was all caught on film. We were all glued to our TV sets watching them sift through the debris while they searched through the "mirk" for what we thought were bones. That was all done through the love and leadership of LP and his divers. It would be just like that day. What more could they do with $200,000?

There is an indication from the perp that JB Park is a location where Caylee could be. Also from the grandparents as they mentioned it was one of her favorite places to visit and spent quite a bit of time there. It would make it one of the locations which need to be gone over with a fine toothed comb. The perp mentioned JB Park several times in several conversations in and out of jail. She mentions it during the statement she gave police, the phone conversation with Lee and the jail video visit, too.

The only way she will be found FASTER is if people are looking for her and not if she is left for someone to "stumble" across!
:clap::clap:

Excellent points that I forgot to raise in my own response to CW's post.

If TES were offered/accepted this money everything would be A'Ok. Nobody would get worked up about this. IMO, this has to do with the person who was offered the money and the amount of money. We all have to remember this is all about Caylee and finding her. No amount of money is in comparison to her life and soul.

Actually I would say the same thing about anyone taking money for exclusive film rights. I personally think whomever was in front of that lense is going to end up in a hatchet job piece about the explotation of this case and added to the bowl of fruit loops the Anthony's have been during their media exposure. I don't think it should be a definite no, but I am way skeptical.

They could find more "rocks" & have LE classify it as "found property":crazy:

No, actually...I don't know why. People every day beg for television or print media to cover their missing in any way to bring attention to their plight to encourage others to become involved in any effort to find them. The more people who are out there...the better the chances become of finding Caylee.

I do applaud anyone and everyone who is spending time looking for her! I want more people with boots on the ground now. I want more people in the water searching, diving, and digging in silt. I want more people on television getting more people out there! I want Caylee found. Period!

Once again: Please state your source or link to a story, etc. that says LE is not out there searching.

They're searching?

I think someone (private OR the media) would NOTICE a group of searchers in one location.... considering Caylee's disappearance has been in the news constantly.

And if you're going to argue that they're searching stealthily so the public isn't even aware of it, I still say if they have locations they're zeroing in on & want to keep that private, then LP's group searching a lake cannot possibly interfere with some secret search in some secret location.

What next, people in Georgia can't conduct any searches either.... because Caylee might have been left in that state???

I vote yes if LP uses every bit of the money to search for Caylee, does professional interviews about it, and doesn't get involved with all sorts of other characters and feuds while he's doing it.

Searchers for TES do not need a camera hanging over their shoulder with every step. It's not necessary. We are not a huge number here so where is the value in following us around? There isn't any. They would be more valuable if they put the camera down and picked up a stick.

They should.

But they didn't.

If LP really believes Caylee is under that water should he pass? Susan Smith's car was filmed being pulled out of the water? Would it have been better for those boys have been left in SS's car than for the scene to have been filmed?

...snip....

Makes sense to me, if people in Florida aren't allowed to picnic until LP decides it's okay, why shouldn't people in Georgia not be allowed to conduct searches without LP's approval?

I was aware of the divers but I was not watching it live, so no I am not glued to anything and everything LP is doing for the camera. I did see footage when Rick Sanchez on CNN was breaking the news and claimed there was a breakthrough in the case. I was skeptical of the find, but I still cried at the possibility. Your right, it makes for great TV. Get the popcorn.

The folks who are still out there searching without seeking glory are the true heros in my book. My hat is off to you and those who join you in those searches, B.

I'm so saddened by the way Tim Miller and the TES organization have been villified thanks to LP injecting himself into this case. Now even LE is being condemned. Good job, LP. If you do get lucky enough to accidentally find Caylee will you at least remove your cowboy hat to show respect while you hold her skull up and smile pretty for the cameras?

I have never heard TM villified, and I've certainly never heard LP say anything but good things about TM. Sadly, I don't think TM attacking LP helped TES or Caylee in any way and I think it surprised many of us and caused us concern for Tim's wellbeing.

I voted yes. I don't care who funds the search or what they receive in exchange for putting up the money. $200K will pay for a lot of searching.

I agree totally. I don't care who or how it is funded or even if it is funded, if they will keep searching.

I doubt anyone would have objections if it were TES. They didn't in Aruba.

I voted NO also. In the unlikely event LP found anything of value Baez and his crew would have a field day discrediting LP and the Evidence. LP may be good at finding bondjumpers, that's a far cry from finding human remains. I appreciate his efforts in continuing to searc, but it seems to me that this has turned into a personal battle for him against the A.

He got slapped when he was shown up by KC keeping her mouth shut. How many more rings have to added to this circus.

Caylee may never be found.

I am proof alone. I am a member of the TES team they left here. Continued searches do not need to be in the media. The important thing is we are continuing to search.

:clap: Exactly. The search now being done in Orlando by the TES team is being done the way most TES searches are, no fan fare, just a lot of hard work. Thank you for keeping it up. I know Tim & Odie have a lot of confidence in the team in Orlando. I heard that straight from them.

Either way anyone looks at it......A search, regardless if it's with a group or by yourself, it is still funded. Whether through donations, husband buying you stuff you will take with you, wife fills up the tank to get to search, etc.

And how would you explain the expenses of an unmarried individual who fills their own gas tank and buys what they need for a search out of their own pocket? And lest we forget, without a camera to record a find (per TES search rules) for their own self-glorification?

LP 'really' believed Caylee was in the landfill after being tossed in two different dumpsters.

LP 'really' believed that Caylee was in the woods out by the airport.

LP 'really' believed that Caylee wasn't deceased.

There is no more indication that Caylee is in BP than in any of those other places.

LOL!

The only feeling I got at seeing that unfold was that LE was totally embarrassed that they didn't have the foresight to assign an officer to the area in the event that something WAS found.

They came barging in whining that the media was there doing what the media does.... reporting.

Late to the party & in a pissy mood.
