How dumb do you think juries are??

It appears they're far less trusting and forgiving today after watching how OJ's lawyers successfully pulled the wool over those jurors' eyes. I thought the last OJ trial in LV was a 3-ring circus, but the jurors weren't fooled by any of it and simply used common sense. The things that worked in OJ's first trial didn't work this time around. The jurors won't be fooled by KC's lies, either, despite all the smoke screens her lawyers may throw out there. I think they'll fry her for her lies, even if the Prosecutors come up short. I think jurors have toughened up since OJ and resent being manipulated by lawyers. Common sense seems to be ruling the day now in these high profile trials.

If Murt is there filming LP's search, I don't think jurors will be fooled by the defense casting aspersions on LP.

The Bounty Hunter is really letting his true colors show.

I guess he figures now that Tim Miller let everyone know what he's really all about why bother hiding it anymore..

200k to film the search for Caylee? This is exactly what Tim said he would do isn't it?

I wonder what the title of LP's book will be..? -

"How to make money off a missing child for dummies"

Is this going to be a live broadcast or a pay per view special?

This isn't about Caylee anymore this is about Business..!!

But who cares...!

It's all for the greater good...!!

Find Caylee at all cost..!!

And we might as well be entertained along the way..!!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

VAN SUSTEREN: You’re not even supposedly making money on this, so what are they jealous of ?

PADILLA: That they didn’t do it. They don’t want to — we used to have a hog when I was a kid, and she wouldn’t eat but she wouldn’t let the piglets eat, either.

Beer amd spft drinks were for free but were the hard liquor drinks?

I suppose if someone wanted to pay for one, they could buy it. I didnt' see many people have much at all actually. What does it matter? The meeting was only a little over an hour and people were on their way. What are you insinuating?

I could maybe understand this if THEY WERE ACTUALLY SEARCHING but I guess their are people out there with a heart that don't want her out there.

I'm off to work, so I don't have time to read the whole thread. I'm so sorry if this turns out to be a repeat!

Last night, Nancy Grace's producer, the pretty lady that has been in charge of the Caylee segment from the beginning, said that the Anthony's do have a private investigator who is tracking down every lead. Whether we agree with HOW they are searching, they ARE searching.

I was kind of on the fence, but after reading the thread about the Lee email....I realize this circus is never going to end unless Caylee is found. If that $$ will help find her, I am all for it. Someone has got to stop this family and give them all a reality check.

I couldn't agree more!! I don't put down the A's very often because I try my best to have empathy for them (except for KC that is), but there's no denying that C (especially) hand-fed the media with titillating tidbits and LE added fuel to the fire by releasing the document dumps, re-arresting her at the house, etc. Combine that with the insane circumstances surrounding Caylee being 'lost' (and the lies, partying, pizza, videos, etc, etc) and how precious little Caylee was and the 'circus' absolutely isn't going to stop until KC is tried (and convicted). And given the theatrics and cast of characters who knows if it will stop then.

So while I still think local LE and other agencies involved are whizzing on trees to show LP that this is their territory and will try to shut him down any chance they can get, maybe he should go ahead and go for it.

As SS and others have pointed out it's been done before -- from documentaries right down to the local and national news. And since TES allowed it during the Aruba search (something I hadn't known) I don't see how this would be much different.

Caylee needs to be found. Period. So I go from undecided to go for it!

I say yes go for it.....whatever it takes to bring Caylee home!

I'm not sure because I am not convinced that LP knows where Caylee's body is. Until there is stronger evidence to launch a search of an area, I think the money might just go down the drain.

He should wait until there is more to go on.

I think your typical jury is pretty clever and not easily fooled. And I agree with you about the lies....those alone are enough to get her convicted.

I think the point being made is that MN is also profitting from this.

That is the problem. It is the same reason that similar searches aren't being done by the OCSO as they are waiting on stronger evidence or tips to come in before concentrating search areas. If the perp never discloses and if no one accidently comes across any evidence to further a search of the area...it won't be done at all.

It really isn't our problem how people choose to spend their money, is it?! It isn't money down the drain as it would be going to a noble cause. It would be to try and find Caylee.

Anyone associated with the perp, the perp's family, and others who are either protecting or covering for the perp should not be making a dime. To me, this is where the line should be drawn. ;) This includes lawyers, PIs, etc.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand am all for anything that bankrolls the search and can get the job done. On the other hand, anyone who' unwilling to donate their time and money doesn't strike me as really having the right commitment. ETA: I guess in the end it's irrelevant what motives are or who is paid, just FIND little Caylee. JMO

I voted yes. I don't care who searches, how they are paid, or about any of that other stuff. Just search, have it documented, if nothing found, do another one. These searches can cost hundreds of thousands for just one search. Sure we can have unskilled and very kind volunteers help, but we need the skilled, their equipment, man hours, etc... I don't know of any organization that can donate days, weeks, months, labor to do this with the necessary skills and equipment, and not be bankrupt rather quickly. I do think LP is serious in his commitment to finding Caylee, let any company pay him to continue with that commitment, regardless if that company actually makes money on it or not, the searches can be done. JMO.

Can you define the "right dedication or commitment"? I think someone who has proven they are willing to do what it takes to get a job done is dedicated. Commitment in this case appears to me to be finding a beautiful child who is laying somewhere out there like garbage to not only bring her home for a decent burial, but to put the perp away for discarding her like that. We all have our reasons, but these are the main two in my mind.

To me, it is all about dedication and commitment on any searcher's part who is out there and I applaud them all! If someone is out there for ten minutes or ten weeks and those who spend ten dollars or ten thousand dollars...their goal is the same, imo.

Exactly! LE is working on a fixed budget supplied by tax dollars.... and the sad truth is Caylee Anthony is not their ONLY concern.

And in some sense, TES is also in a position to say it's time to move onto a different case where there is a better chance at succeeding.

If LP can & will concentrate solely on solving this ONE CASE that gives him a better chance at finding Caylee than either LE or TES, imo.

I have stated this in another thread. I could give a rat's azz about who makes money off of this whole ordeal. As long as Caylee is found, that is all that matters, isn't it? My vote is YES!!!!!! LP needs to take the money and do whatever he has to do to bring this beautiful little girl home. Not many others are putting as much effort as he is too find her. So what if he makes a little bit off of it. I'm sure he has bills to pay. It's not like he is going to take the whole amount and run away with it. He has shown that he is genuine about this case. He wants to find Caylee as much as we do and he now has all of the resources to do it. So I think he should go for it!
