I would venture to say he thinks PDI.I'm interested in knowing at what point he is willing to openly say he thinks John stepped in.IMO it's far earlier than Thomas could reveal,due to evidence that can't be exposed.

I thought his book was a good read. Of course, more time spent on the JBR case would have been nice, but that wasn’t the premise of the book. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but let’s just say that he’s not IDI.

Mark Furhman is an idiot. But even idiots have their moments.

His chapter on the Ramsey case, in which he points the finger squarely on the Ramseys, is really nothing more than a logical repudiation of the intruder theory, which is pretty evident to anyone who knows the basic facts of the case.

I don't think Mark Furhman is the end all and be all of solving crime.
Just because he writes about something does not make it true.

During cross-examination, Fuhrman, when asked by defense attorney F. Lee Bailey whether he had used the word "ni**er," said he hadn't used the word in ten years. The defense produced four witnesses to establish that Fuhrman had used the word "ni**er" more recently; as well as an audiotape contradicting his testimony. This testimony eventually resulted in a perjury conviction. In one 1985 recording, Fuhrman gave a taped interview to Laura Hart McKinny, a writer working on a screenplay about female police officers. In another interview, Fuhrman talked about gang members and was quoted as saying, "Yeah we work with ni**ers and gangs. You can take one of these ni**ers, drag 'em into the alley and beat the **** out of them and kick them. You can see them twitch. It really relieves your tension." He went on to say "we had them

Nope - I wouldn't give this guy a penny or a minute of my time. Most LA cops are tainted, my brother included. He likes to beat criminals "just for fun". Needless to say, I haven't talked to him in years.

I want the book. I've read his previous ones, and he was definitely thrown under the bus in the OJ trial.

Sorry, not to sound offensive, but his actions threw him under the bus. He was a noteably rasist cop in LA. Words out of his own mouth. I guess we'll have to disagree on that one.

I'm not sure what a noteably rasist cop is, but I do know what a notably racist cop is and Mark Fuhrman isn't one of them. Mark was never known as racist in the LA Department. That is until the "dream team" falsely accused him of being one.

I'm sure I read that Mark befriended a fellow black co-worker, and even had her over for dinner on more than one occasion.He also offered to escort her home from work as she was afraid to go by herself.They were said to be very good friends.racist? No,I don't believe it!
The tapes he made were talking into a mic;it was nothing but fiction for the script!

I bought this book knowing very little about Fuhrman and, in fact, only started reading about him when someone on Amazon laid into him. The first things I read were alarming and I was upset to have lined his pockets with my purchase of his book. I was also slightly surprised that someone with such ideals of equality as Steve Thomas would have befriended him - it sort of slightly jaundiced a hero for me.

Subsequently, though, I have read a lot more and think that Fuhrman is much-maligned. He's another guy who is sort of abrasive and probably isn't that easy to like but, in this book, he advocates more media coverage of murders and abductions of children from ethnic minorities and is absolutely tough on white, wealthy people like the Ramseys. If there's anything to object to, it's his faith in Fox News. The latter's political leanings aren't my battle but I do worry about the Murdoch family controlling so much of the globe's media so I will always be a Fox-skeptic.

Looks like an interesting read. I read his book "Murder In Brentwood", on the O.J. case, and it was very convincing. From the looks of things, I may not
agree with his verdict of what happened in the JonBenet' case, but I'll
definately read it anyway. Thanks for letting me know about it, I didn't until I checked here.

I'd read about anything that Mark Furhman wrote and I enjoy listening to him on Fox News.....plan to get the book very soon. JMO
