Rather than quote each of you I'm addressing I'll just clarify on the points you each make. As I said, I have sifted soil before. Yes, the items larger than soil stay on the screen and I saw he picking up the larger things and lay them in the pile as she chatted. But, what does it matter. They are supposed to be going over it again, right? What does it matter, she's guilty right? Jeesh, why not save yourselves some taxpayers dollars and string her up now rather than go through a lengthy trial then house her for the rest of her life.
Nancy I agree with you and was aware of that. But even one falsely imprisoned is too many. Yes, Tim did say that, clearly, so I have to disagree with you there. When I have time I'll look for the link in my history. In fact, I heard a reporter at another time mention the seeming conflict in what LE said and did, letting a civilian in that way.
It means alot. It means they need to protect and preserve the evidence so that the how, what, when, etc. can be figured out. So that it can be investigated. Without interference from someone wanting to spin it all falsely.
Keep in mind, someone is guilty. SOMEONE. Either you want no one to pay for this crime, or you want it investigated so someone pays for it. Either the case will hold up against Casey, or the case will fall flat.
This team is only workign for Casey. If Casey didn't do it, then the next person will be charged. Hmmm..... Why are they not demanding the same stuff as Caseys team? Because they are not charged. But I bet you, that if that came about.. they would have a fit if Casey's team is gets anywhere near the evidence. Casey's team has a vested interest in someone else being found guilty. It dosen't matter who the LE find guilty. Casey or someone else. They are going to go after the person the evidence says to go after.
This isn't about wither you think she is innocent or someone else thinks she is guilty. But wither those folks follow the rule book. It has been established as fairly as possible. And it takes into consideration that someone else might have done it. LE is following the rule book. It's not to the part yet where they are suppose to turn over stuff they found this weekend. If Casey hadn't all ready been charged, the LE would have continued working this stuff for a while.. and maybe months from now.. someone would be charged and everything would be turned over to them.
Wow! Casey's team will get these crime areas faster then defense team normally gets them. Not months or even years later. How in the world do all those other lawyers deal with such a situation. Should their clients be allowed to walk, just because the LE didn't know automaticly who to charge, so they can have someone at there to watch the investigation???
Sorry.. I believe the LE should follow a path that should be used in all cases. LE has gotten more high tech and more professional when it comes to this stuff. They realize that they must prove what they are saying. They must keep the evidence, etc.. They have spent time and money, yet lost cases. They have learned to clean up their act, so that doesn't happen. Which means, they are aware they must report to the jury and prove it to a jury. NO jury is going to 'buy' evidence that some other defense team handled, walked around, etc.
This isn't all about Casey.
