Poor Hillary Clinton

  • #101
BTW, were they tacky at Correta King's funeral or what? It might have only been 5 hours long if the Clintons had kept their flappers shut.
Ditto poor old Jimmy Carter, who used to have much better manners. I gave him half a break for possible senility and maybe utter fatigue, but the Clintons have no such excuses.

A very good and venerable rule of politics on Capitol Hill is that a former President NEVER publicly criticizes a sitting President. The reasons are many, but the greatest one is that it considerably diminishes the critical speaker.

I am serious, Al has lost it.

He goes to NYC when it is 4 degees F with snow EVERYWHERE to talk about global warming. He is good for a sound byte though.

Take heart, your hailing from the Gore state is offset by the fact that you live in God's country!

Cal

I'm embarassed to say, my hubby loves him. Needless to say, it's a bone of contention in our house. :slap: :banghead: :slap: :banghead: We just don't talk about it anymore because we always end up arguing. I know I'm right though. Hubby did vote for Bush this last time though, so we are getting somewhere with him.

God's country, yes indeed.

You should go join the debate in the Polical Pavillion about the "funeral"....

I hope you are right on #1 and I think you are stone wrong on #2. She is the savior of the party at this point. Everyone else is off in quack land via Howard Dean, Al Gore, and John Kerry that I think Clinton will easily get the nomination. There must be something that makes you go absolutely nuts when you try to become President and fail. These three are just crazy

Cal
I still don't believe she will get it. We will see Cal. WS is going to explode with posts if she does! LOL I will be seeing you in the PP if she does get the nomination I guess huh? :D

I will be joing you in the trek northwards. So will my hubby, who will probably lose his defense- industry related job if Hillary ends up smoking the cigar.

BTW, Chelsea didn't just have a nose job and she didn't have a " face lift". She was only 19 or so, and had the following to her face ( I don't know what they did to her rather lumpy body):

Facial work:
Cheek liposuction
Cheekbone implants
Chin liposuction
Chin implant
Rhinoplasty ( nose job)

Knowing dirty Bill, he also threw in a few thou for a boob job.

Nothing against Chelsea, but man, appearances are everything to this shallow and vain FORMER first family.
Honestly...that poor girl NEEDED it! She is lovely now. :D

ITA! She and Amy Carter were two of the most homely children in the White House since the invention of photography. :)

Whoops! Sorry if I posted my comments in the wrong place. I try very hard to stay silent on politics and religion at all times. :)
Please forgive my well- meaning mistake.

Well amore, you are right, someone did snap her at the wrong time

I would prefer to NOT be so educated that I would stay with a man who cheated on me from the beginning of my marriage, and willing to let the gals take the blame for supposedly lying.

My wish has never been to be an "Educated Idiot", my self pride would come before my wanting to further myself as a Senator or anything else :(

It takes a much greater man to be a liar, cheater on the whole country and mass murderer.
Cheating on Marriage= Murder of 100,000 Iraqis = same same

I donut judge people by their looks. My momma always told me, since I wuz purty, she always said, "pretty is as pretty does". Meaning that your behaviors are what make you purdy, not just looking good.

Therefore I judge Hillary by her behaviors. She actually looks pretty good these days, unless the camera catches her with her mouth open.

Now then, I do enjoy looking at beautiful folks, who are pleasing to the eye, not necessarily made up to the hilt, but wholesome and lovely with contented souls. That always shows whether they have make up on or not.

I saw a bumper sticker years ago, that I never forgot.
"Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes all the way through".

.
Oh Camper, can I please use that line in my siggy? I love it!!! :D
