So they clearly think he hasn't left the immediate area?
I don't at all know how they do things, but isn't it a bit weird to start on foot from the same place so many times?

Yesterday's mission was short, 2 hours long, so they can't have covered much area in that time. Interested to see how much time they spend today.

So either it's a really small area they're interested in, or... I don't know. Maybe they are doing some training exercises, but that doesn't make sense.

Any ideas?

They seem to be heading off toward the direction of the Buckland River, which runs alongside Dezi's property further downstream

No ideas but I also agree it's strange that they keep leaving from the airport. Surely he would have gone further than that by this point.

You're a funny person @essareem and lucky you can do a laughing emoji but tight fisted me can't otherwise I would have done one.
Certainly looks like they headed off into the paddock. But there are other places to access the bush without the risk of being chased by a bull!
I just find this whole airfield business completely bizarre and i'm sorry that @Marg944 highlighted the good use someone can make of the airfield cams.
And now if they do put one on a cow I'll go around the twist wondering what's going on.
Anyway, let's hope they find him soon and the next murder case isn't so bewildering.

Maybe they are just changing "shifts" so to speak, and it's not the same team coming back we see.

He was a photographer, so did he make these fakes up himself?

MOO I wonder if DF did digitally alter some of those latest photos, did he use the same technology and equipment to create fake pictures about other people?

IMO

Surely they don't just walk away from their vehicles leaving the boots of their cars up!
And surely they don't need to release their drones from what looks like the airfield's helicopter landing pad.
Personally, I think we should give them a tap on the shoulder and say thanks for your help but we'll take over from here.
The first thing I'd do is ask the government if they would allow members of the special services SAS to join in the search.
These police may look very tough (and they may well be) but I don't think they have the experience or expertise to search for a hiding spot that may well be booby trapped and/or have a crazed gunman inside. That's MOO

Completely photoshopped
I'm not fully seeing it? Like maybe, but old film cameras made things look weird anyway. ?

It does look a bit weird but to me it just looks like he's holding the snake very tightly, as you would, and so his hand is flexing and the metacarpals are showing, plus the hypothenar eminence / muscles inside that mound.

But I might be missing the point.

If they put a cowcam or two on, let's hope they don't choose the very cow that Dezi is disguised as! :p

I bet he's wishing that the photos of himself as a cross between Rambo, Bear Grylls and Chief Sitting Bull are not faked, otherwise he'd be a very skinny man if he's been sitting in a cave for a month.
