Possible Kyron Sightings

Yes, to me Kaine is not tall, no more than 5'9" IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad they called you back, especially since the sighting was June 5th, so soon after he was reported missing.

I guess I just don't think it was Kyron, because sadly I don't think he was even alive by June 5th.

This was less than 24 hours after he was reported missing, most people had been at the event since sun up, and are not the type to stay up to watch the 11 pm news.

Besides which, the people with the boy did not do what people came to the event to do, they were there for a very short time, tried to be as inconspicuous as possible, and left before the main event.

That's just the tip of the iceberg of suspicious behavior.

All of which does not mean I saw Kyron. But it appears MCSO couldn't rule it out either.

Clearly they're ruling a good many out without even speaking to people.

If you find a link, please point me at it. Aside from the guilt, I hate thinking Kaine could be guilty if he's not. Doesn't mean I didn't see Kyron, could have been someone who looked like Kaine had Kyron. I'll be the first to sing from the rooftops if someone can prove it's not Kaine. I'll grow wings and fly if it wasn't Kyron, because then I no longer will feel I failed his family by being a lazy sloth (I know, I know, I'm working on it! You folks have helped. I'm sleeping again at least, which is good!).

The only explanation I had for them being there, is if LE, neighbors, or relatives got too close, and had to hide. If you needed a quick place to hide, it was a great, out of the way place where it was extremely unlikely someone would have noticed. We're talking farm/ag area. These folks are early to bed, early to rise. Most of them probably didn't know at that point that Kyron was missing, and anyone who knew enough about this event to find it would have known that, since it's an annual event, and well known locally.

It's a bit akin to filling a stadium with rabid fans of a rock star and parading Kyron around while the rock star is performing. Most people's rapt attention was directed elsewhere. Heck, everyone teases me about being the LAST person they would want as a witness if they were in danger. I'm not one who typically notices this stuff. I had a Mommy moment. The only reason I remember this little boy, is we are foster parents, and we kind of learn to size kids up pretty quickly. There are things we look for and correlate to the environment they may have been in, which can be important for case planning and prosecution. I took one look at this little boy, and realized he was pretty trustworthy, looked at the adults, had a snotty, not nice thought or 20 about them ignoring him and being so damn cranky to him, and then looked back at him to see if he'd be interested in playing with my son if the adults would allow. It was emotionally charged enough that I was focused and paying attention, otherwise it could have been Kyron being carried on Barney's shoulders shooting fireworks out his rear, and I would have been oblivious.

But clearly that's human nature to some degree. I'll emphasize degree, because I'm the first to admit I tend to live on the oblivious side of that spectrum, and I probably don't have a lot of neighbors there.

No, the marine layer did not clear until late in the day. In fact that helps pinpoint time a bit. It was still on the grayish side when they came in, which might have meant it was closer to 10:30.

And it was cold. I'm menopausal, and I hate heat. I was in a thick jacket.

I do not. I saw where they walked because the boy followed them, they huddled off away from the action for a while, but I was engrossed in other things. The only thing I do know for certain is they were gone fairly quickly, and didn't return. They only stayed maybe 30 minutes.

What they did after they walked away I have no idea. I really wish I did, but I don't.

Well, maybe. I think the medical folks here can understand, but I keep using the term "rule out' for a reason. Look, the kid I saw had dark hair, Kyron's length, a widow's peak, wire-rimmed glasses, very close to the height/weight reported. It's not impossible that the these people were seen by someone else who went home, watched the news, and smacked themselves on the head. Still doesn't mean it's Kyron, but it can mean they couldn't rule it out.

That's why I stalk the internet like an OCD-ridden ghost. I want to rule it out. I would sleep much better if I could finally say, with certainty, that I didn't wait 2 weeks to report seeing Kyron Horman. I know there is information out there that can prove I did not see Kaine, and I did not see Kyron. Unless of course, I did see them.

I think it is possible you received multiple calls as LE reviewed other tips and wanted to hear again what you saw to compare it to what other people saw, and when. You may be the one they called and the others who had similar tips did not get calls as they were "duplicates". i.e. if six people call about Walmart, for example, they may not call all six, just pull the tape, check it out, and move on. Since there was presumably no tape to pull, they probably had to call you back to clarify things. (or maybe they have since obtained a tape of the event and ruled it out?)

Sure, but re-read the other "they didn't call us back!" articles. Some of which sound more plausible than mine. And re-read what McCain said about how they handle tips. Some don't get called back at all. In fact, nothing is getting a call back unless it's plausible. Those get catalogued for future reference.

I can't imagine with all the complaints about NOT calling folks back, they'd call me back 3 times to verify information on a tip they knew couldn't be true.

Seriously though.... I keep trying, I can't find any mention of his whereabouts, or what specifically was going on in the case, a sort of timeline for what happened in the first 24 hours... I think that would be the easiest place to prove it wasn't Kaine.

The other thing is, the little boy knew and trusted the people he was with. He was very comfortable with the man. Trying desperately to get the attention/approval of the woman. Kids don't do that with kidnappers 24 hours after they disappear. Particularly not a kid who's other Dad is LE. I'll bet my bottom dollar that TY has had a few talks with him about stranger danger.

I don't know if there is anything solid on media thread but it seems as though LE moved into their house right away, the FBI was called that first night, IIRC, and I doubt Kaine would have had freedom of movement on that Satuday?
