another really weird thought..stay with me. is there a way Rex could have called Shannen's sister pretending to be Hackett? maybe some of the calls didn't come from Peter...but Peter was in the news etc...and why didn't they find her early on? why do the calls sound/seem so similar to the calls made to Maureen's sister? this type of behavior is very specific. I just feel it's all too coincidental. mOO

Did the SCPD when interviewing Hackett, ever ask the question? Did the SCPD have any idea that Shannan was at Hackett's home? Did they care?

So many possibilities and questions. What if Hackett sent Shannan to RH's home. Maybe this was the 'home for wayward females', he was telling Shannan's mother about in their phone call?

Too bad there is no political will in Suffolk County, or New York State to have a thorough independent review of the police investigation.

I don't know if all the calls were traced and accounted for. I don't think Rex had Peter's phone ..but he could have gotten that number from Shannen's phone ..isn't there a way to clone a number? Rex had a massive number of phones and devices. Peter admitted he may have called and then he get's all cloudy about the calls or the reason he called or what he said, total word salad explanation and never says he treated SG...it just doesn't make any sense. So did he medicate her? treat her? touch her? give her a shot to knock her out? He would have to because he has only one leg and I don't think he could overcome her unless he had her locked inside a car like a cage situation where he has support and her options to move are limited.

Rex on the other hand....Rex is a serial killer who murders sex workers..he likes to hunt them..he has a bunch of them right nearby Peter's house..there is absolutely nothing to indicate she dies of hypothermia in a marsh..which by the way is not as difficult to navigate as first described by LE.

there is just no way in this world that she had a psychotic break in which she was running around and calling the police and begging for help from someone trying to get her...and then she runs over to the serial killer's cemetery and dies
a short distance from said serial killer's sex worker victims...and dies with her pants off?

well I think when they all went up to Brewers place and they handed out their number when she first went missing..like maybe it was a flyer..I can't remember..but that is one possibility. mOO

Shannan ended up at Dr. Hackett's house. We do not exactly know how she arrived there, but my belief is, it happened after Shannan left Gus Coletti's house and was probably brought to Hackett's by Michael Pak.

Dr. Hackett has admitted that he treated Shannan and the next day that he called Shannan's mother.

I also believe, Dr. Hackett released Shannan into the care of Michael Pak after the doctor finished treating her.

this is one reason that is often cited because 2 people can't keep a secret. the story that has been passed around is from the cab driver that is said to have had an experience involving both Rex and Shannan ... it would be cool if someone did a deep dive on the hotel to try to find others who may have seen something or find some proof they were there together in that time frame. maybe even through registration, phone number that links back to one of Rex's phones..etc.

rumors within LE have to be carefully unearthed in cop bars and through connections. outsiders rarely get this stuff, wives don't talk. mOO

Is there a rumor about who deleted the security camera recordings at the entry gate? It is my understanding that there were only a few members at Oak Beach that could have done it.

Pak is shady and how do we know he never drove her to meet RH or didn't communicate with Rex under one of his many aliases.? how do we know if he set her up somehow inadvertently or if somehow he is the connection between them. After all she wouldn't be out there without a driver, it's very unlikely...Rex had tentacles everywhere it seems. There was a girl who got away from him in the nick of time, and another who was at a park with her bike, next to some woods, where Rex kept appearing out of the trees and trying to engage her.
