Anybody make any headway in supposition of why she told Ryan she would be there when she knew she couldn't have been there within a few hours of that time? It does seem odd that she would throw a red flag up before the covert activities really began, there had to have been a logical reason for doing so to her, but what?
I have said before here on the site that she didn't tell Ryan she'd be late because she didn't think she would be. She thought she'd arrive at 3 or 4am, kill travis in his sleep perhaps, and be on her merry way. She probably figured she could explain arriving to Ryan a few hours late, but not a whole DAY late.
But she didn't realize that Travis' roommate would be home. She couldn't do it with the roommate there and she fell asleep either with Travis or outside in her car, who knows?
After all that driving, I can imagine that she did remain asleep and didn't hear the roommate leave, didn't hear Travis texting people or putting together a floor cleaner.
It's possible she lured him into sex with the promise from the sex tape because he'd been planning to go to her state to do it, but then he decided he wasn't visiting her after 5.26. She might have coaxed him back into that fantasy, hoping to tie him to the bed but he wasn't trying to be tied up. Then she had to think of something else. The shower photos.
What I don't understand and will never understand is how Travis had sex with her and she hadn't had a shower --for all we know-- since she'd been with Matt. But maybe she took her shower before the sex and lied about taking it after. I don't know, but she had to stink. I can't imagine she was fresh down there.
It just makes no sense for her to know what he'd watched on youtube at 4am unless it was true. She had no reason to believe she'd need to snoop through his computer and know that information in case her plan fell apart. So I believe she knew it because she saw him doing it. I don't believe she got on his computer after sneaking in while he was sleeping because that leaves a record that she was there, and she could have gotten caught downstairs doing that by the roommate or Travis.
I find it odd that Naps would not have heard her enter the house, but it equally makes no sense that she'd sleep outside in a car in his area or vicinity, where someone might notice a woman in a neighborhood sleeping in her car. My guess is she didn't want to be seen in AZ, so she was most likely inside his house that night and morning, not conspicuously somewhere else in Mesa where she could be seen.
I also think she went straight to Travis' house and was in there that night because it wouldn't make sense for her to be elsewhere when she knew she had to be to Ryan. She was late, so arbitrarily waiting until after 1pm to even make her presence known to Travis is counter intuitive to sticking to her plan. It's possible she could have hid in the yard all night and morning, trying not to be seen by neighbors until the roommate left the house, but the much simpler explanation is she arrived, made herself known to Travis, and learned that a roommate was home.
But I do find it odd the way she explained to Flores the floor cleaning incident. She explained it as if she had walked in during the middle of it. There is no explanation of how it got started and no note that the cleaner had been out and the furniture stacked the night before. She kind of just blurts out, "He was cleaning the floors...or something..."
I can also imagine that after whatever transpired upstairs, she might have gone to shower, and he went back to working on the floors, something she hadn't known he'd been doing while she'd been asleep.
Barring if a roommate said he saw travis with this cleaner, I might even say Jodi cleaned the floors herself; however, I'm sure they tested that floor cleaner for blood, right?
