If Travis was ever in Hawaii I don't remember seeing anything posted here. I also don't remember reading anything about Dan going to Hawaii but it's possible it may have been posted somewhere other than here. Anyone know????

There is apparently a gag order in place so no news is coming out, there's an oral argument scheduled for Jan. 13th, and word has it that mid-Feb. is the projected start time for the sentencing retrial, but nothing official has been stated.

Sorry to quote my own post but I made a mistake, the oral argument is scheduled for Jan. 3rd (this Friday), not the 13th.

I could only get through half of that letter and scanned a little further as that's all I could stomach. That this murderer has the audacity to say these words "so seldom are the perpetrators held accountable" says it all and confirms what most of us here already know, that for her rehabilitation could never be an option imo.

Imo, she's delusional thinking she is so important to anyone that they would bother making death threats against her. And she will stoop to anything to get and keep the sympathy and attention of her supporters. If there were ever any real death threats against her or anyone, imo all of that's over with as for most people she is old news now, and I would be very surprised if anyone out there cares enough to even be bothered with her. Of course she could get some of her supporters to send fake death threats, wouldn't put that past her one bit. She's desperately trying to control and manipulate what few people she still can and will do so until the day she dies, or until there is no one foolish enough to let her.

Don't know if I posted this before, but regarding the pictures on the camera of them having sex. I make a calendar every year for my sisters and brothers of old pictures of us from my photo album. My Huz takes a picture of a picture I want to use for the calendar on our digital camera and he saves them on my computer, and then deletes them from his camera. Could she not have printed out pictures of their previous "sex pictures" and brought them with her and taken pictures of those on Travis' camera? I hope that makes sense??!!

It's still not clear where this message was posted. Her blog? Where and what is that? It's just amazing to me that a convicted murderer can use social media to such an extent.

Can anyone think of any other convicted murderer who did so, or are we simply living in interesting technological times?

Without a doubt! And it's fascinating, to me, that we are able to see the transition from "victim" to ringleader. She is now directing those who feel sorry for her and send her money. They have somehow become, at least in view of this screed, not supporters, but followers!

Many, many moons ago (during the trial, lol) I thought the same thing.

Something is just "off" about the pictures, I had an idea in my head they were taken at another time and she just snapped pics OF the pics.
I do not recall what about them got me on that train, not even sure if I still think that. The hair color being a big reason, since she was not brunette while she was with Travis until the final trip down to Mesa.
Then again, with her, anything is possible. She could have used a wash out dye, taken the pictures at some time before that trip (while at his house) and saved them for her later plans.

Wouldn't it be nice to one day just know EVERYTHING?
What the nastiest text from Travis was about, the one he where he was really mad. What she did with the gun and knife. How and when the sex pics were taken....Oh, so much more if I went back and read up again.
It will never happen though. Short of torture she will never really tell a truth in full, that I know.

I'm going back, looking at this. On Direct, Gus said she called him while was training in Vegas at a briefing. It is not clear if she came directly to him after this call. When Nurmi questions him, Nurmi says she came there to stay "On her way out of Mesa." Gus agreed that it was true. Then he says he has no idea when he gave her the phone, just that he met her in Pasadena.

On Cross, he talks about the stay without repeating that it had been during her move or "way out of mesa." Then he says DURING HER MOVE, she lost her phone and he met her in Pasadena to give her one. He doesn't know any dates.

He says he met her in person only twice outside of meetings. He did NOT mention he'd been at a Tempe AZ meeting April 1, 2008, with Travis alexander as the contact person, as indicated on this link:

April Fool's day. That's ironic. It's not on PPL's AZ calendar. Even more puzzling.

April 10-14, 2008, he was in Utah at a super saturday meeting.

He has a Vegas trip on his calendar at the end of february 2008, 22-26, but dont know if he stayed for the whole meeting.

Next time to possibly see Jodi was mid-March in OKC.

I see him scheduled in Vegas again May 6, 2008. (There are a lot of Vegas briefings in between, like every two weeks, but these I pulled from Feb and May have his picture on them.)

He was in PHX, AZ May 16th

Santa Cruise June 3--7pm. The day before, June 2, he just has blocked as out of town. Next is cancun on June 10.

Jodi must have gone to Vegas to spend a couple days with Gus at the end of February. Wonder if we have journal entries to help us know what she was so upset about. She claimed that March was when she started talking about moving, right? Was it the end of February that she claimed to be cleaning and fell asleep while Travis went rock-climbing with Mimi?

I believe it was because JM was questioning her about it being leap year.

This is interesting, and if Gus is telling the truth about how upset she'd been--and if this is actually when she'd seen or spoken to him, then it's becoming apparent that this move, the crying, the anger is associated with Travis and Mimi.

Imagine getting rid of Lisa only to have Mimi crop up. Must have driven Jodi mad.

There is still so much gray in this whole story. I did not trust Gus Searcy on the stand, and his calendar puts things makes things even more skeptical.

When the trial is finally over, someone will get a hold of the evidence and put things more clearly for those who still may be interested.

Searcy would not commit to exactly when he met Arias. It does sound very strange that she would travel all the way to Vegas to see him for comfort, when she barely knew the man and was essentially broke.

What kind of a coincidence is it that he happened to be in California for her to stop and see him there to get her ruined cell phone replaced? If she fried her cell phone, how was she even able to contact him? And why would he be willing to give her a phone, or even have one available to give to her?

Kinda screwy for her to have problems with 2 cell phones in less than 2 months.

I'm trying to see if I can find her journal entry with the 3, no 2 1/2 date, with Mimi and find out if there is a date on the entry.

When I was looking for the entry, I did find this from back on 1/10/2013, where Beth Karas was ready to interview CMJA in late 2011/early 2012:

KARAS: "No, actually, I saw her once at the jail about a little over a year ago when I went to interview her and her former lawyer pulled the plug on the interview just as I was about to do it" Looks like she never stopped courting the media throughout this whole thing, and that her defense intervened when they could.

I fear for the guards and other women inmates at Perryville if she only receives LWOP and eventually gets a chance to be placed in the general population. Any opportunity where she has the ability to "work" people, she will. Look at how she's working everyone while in very close custody right now. We know there is hell to pay when she doesn't get her way.

What's interesting is on the one hand, she is speaking against threats and on the other, detailing a plot of how to catch them. She's very experienced in that, you know, since that's how she did Travis to figure out if he'd even said "excuse me" to a woman in a grocery store.

But to what end? If she premeditated murder and went through all the trouble with the phone and gas cans to show that she wasn't there, what could be the point of going through all that trouble to take pictures of pictures that would place her there on that day? Better to just leave the dateless pictures on the desk, isn't it?

The journal entry you want the date for is March 2 or 3rd. I remember distinctly in the cross, JM told her that it was the end of February which could have been the 28th or 29th for the date with Mimi because it was a leap year. Her entry was March 2, 2008, I believe now that I'm looking at a calendar. The date was a Friday. That saturday morning, Travis picked her up for the tax seminar and "three tender kisses" slaps on the side of the face, after she told him about the move. She'd written it all in retrospect that Sunday.

It's extremely interesting that after TA's 2 & 3/4's date with Mimi, JA wants to announce her move. Sounds very bratty to me. It also follows her pattern of moving abruptly and on a whim. She always manages to move and move quickly, so her talk that she couldn't afford to move for a month after she announced it is crap.

Back to Gus, I believe he lives in the Pasadena area. I say that because he said the trip to see JA for the phone was quick because he had to get his kids from school.

Geevee, What if what you think is duct tape on her "braids" are actually pieces of string, like the ones found all around the murder scene?

I'm saying, what if she braided her hair there, had no ties, so she pulled pieces of tassels off the pillows or used something yarn-like to tie the ends?

To me, that might explain the threads being mashed into the floor. I can't remember if there were hairs around them. Remember, there' also one on the shower door that no one mentions in court. Also, on the uncensored photos, we can see that there is a holder on one braid, the left one, but not the right one--or the holder is black, meaning she had one holder but had to use something else for the other one.
