I never thought of that--remember all those "wildebeest migration" footprints in blood where he had his throat slit--he must have put up a mighty fight there.

It's the only thing I could think of if those cuts did in fact exist. Did anyone see them?

According to her, nobody saw them (socks & shoes in Utah). I thought it was strange to mention injuries like that--they don't sound like the type of injuries a woman gets when a man is beating her--they only make sense that he was wildly fighting an attack on HIM. Why mention them?

I believe his fingernails were clipped at autopsy, do not recall reading a report whether anything was found but nothing was brought up by JM. I had considered that but looked for evidence under nails and didn't see any mention.

I've had a thought or two that maybe the deep chest would impacted his ability to use his hands or arms in any meaningful defensive way. If she attacked him about at the time the sitting shower pic was taken, and caused one of the upper chest/neck wounds, he'd have instinctively grabbed the knife and caused his hand defensive wounds.

Reacting to the new pain in his hands may have given her the opportunity to make the deep chest/heart wound. After that, he may not have been able to defend himself and just tried to avoid her and the knife, getting to the hallway as he could manage.

We know she had him over by the toilet room (blood and casting on the window shades/wastecan and wall opposite the toilet room), maybe to sink next and then down hallway, evading her as best he could.

Unfortunately, I don't think that poor Travis had much fight left in him once he reached the end of the hallway where she delivered the coup de grace. The stab wound to the vena cavea (sp) meant that he would have gone through tremendous internal bleeding and it would have taken all the strength that he could muster just to get himself to the end of that hallway.

I don't like thinking too hard about these things as it really brings home how truly horrific that last minute went down.

I've never seen information in that format from the court website. I tried entering the url info into my browser and came up with the court search screen. Kind of scratching my head on this one, wondering if it is legit.

From the Superior Court web page, if you look at high profile cases and enter in the name of CMJA, this is what pops up:

Thanks gc , I couldn't figure out how the tweeter found it either, it looks so much different than other pages there I was a bit worried about it's authenticity.

Wonder if the camera will be on for it?

I hadn't really noticed it before, but in the pic with the screen there are weeds underneath it, and near its center bottom what looks like a white weed flower, I doubt those things grew underneath the screen, they look too similar to the other weeds not under the screen.

And above and to the left of the marker is a cord that looks like it has a cut end, and something black near it, can't make out what that is. Really wish we could see more of that area, and the window where it came out of.

If you save the pic you can zoom/enlarge it pretty big and still have decent definition.

Anybody make any headway in supposition of why she told Ryan she would be there when she knew she couldn't have been there within a few hours of that time? It does seem odd that she would throw a red flag up before the covert activities really began, there had to have been a logical reason for doing so to her, but what?

My answer for this is simple. She planned on being there with Ryan at or very near the scheduled time. If she had killed Travis when she first got to his house, while he slept, and went straight to Ryan's she would have only been an hour or so late. Something made her change her plan. Perhaps she decided that she wanted Travis to know it was her that killed him. Perhaps something else changed her mind. Something happened that made her change her plans. There is no other reason to make plans with Ryan to show up at a certain time and then not arrive until almost 12 hours later (if I remember the time correctly). There is no point in having an alibi set up if one is not there at the time of the murder.

We really don't know how events transpired that last day. When you take into consideration that the roommate, Zach, was home between 3 and 4, it really clouds things even more.

We do know that Travis was watching Youtube videos around 4 am. We also know that he sent a text message around 12:13 pm, which conflicts with CMJA's story that they awoke around 1 and had sex. There are time stamped photos of a sexual encounter as well as the shower photos and those of a mortally wounded Travis Alexander. A forensic specialist testified that there was a logon attempt on Travis's computer at 4:54. It was not stated whether or not this logon attempt was successful, which I found to be curious. Lastly, Enrique stated that he came home that night somewhere between 6 and 6:30.

Actually we don't know for certain that it was Travis that was watching Youtube videos at 4 am. It could have been Jodi. She arrived, or should have, around 3 am. Based on the last time stamp of her stop over in Pasadena and the drive time to Travis' home, she should have arrived closer to 3 am.

She had to work around Travis' roommates coming and going. Perhaps when she got there, they were home so she couldn't risk it & had to wait for the first opportunity. (She was asked on the stand if his roommates were home, and she said they or one was there for some period of time, so it goes beyond "perhaps"). She mentioned that it was a "KB Home...with paper thin walls" and she had to be quiet during sex when they were home.

She didn't see showing up late for Ryan as a "big deal" --he wasn't her boyfriend, so she wouldn't have to make up a believable story--she went with the "getting lost" and "Gosh! I'm so ditzy" & thought that covered it.

It looks to me that the murder was postponed for hours--she had to be planning on maybe sex & then the killing--she did have the Brazilian wax--or maybe vacillated when she saw him in person & had to build the rage to kill.

If Travis did all those things JA said he did to her on the day of the murder it's a wonder they didn't find DNA under his nails. But nothing was found. And for being body-slammed to the floor she was in remarkably good shape to drive all night to get to Ryan's. jmo

Hello!! Im brand new here but Ive been coming on this site for a couple yrs,the JB Ramsey case brought me here,its one of my obsessions.As well as the Arias/Alexander case. She affects Every fiber of my being.:stormingmad:
I have my theories about the events,but maybe I should look for a thread titled theories, I dont want to post where I shouldnt be. I also have a few questions from my notes, I have a Whole notebook filled. LOL..
1-Duct tape- what was it for?? to tape weapons to herself? tape camera to her arm? restrain Travis? was it tested for prints/DNA?
2-Sex tape recording- was it to blackmail,show to Mimi or bishop? was she planning a social media attack on TA? (flickr,youtube,fb) also,IMO,it was recorded earlier than may 10.
3-Screen on ground-Is this how she entered and exited?or to make it look like an intruder?
4-blood on USB cord- whos was it? is it from her uploading pics or transferring?
5-Shower/Sex pics-when were naked pics taken?were some from an earlier date and the last ones from that day? TA talked about the pigtails,etc on sex tape.
6-where was she going with a packed car and knives before arrested?
7-tassle on stairs- used as silencer??
8-why did TA call and talk to her on the 2nd twice that added up to an hr?
anyways, I have Alot more questions,dont want to post a novel though..

Welcome next-door-neighbor! As I was going down your numbered list I was nodding and wondering where this intelligent, insightful person has been the whole trial. lol Very glad to have you a-board, nolachurch.

I don't know if the duct tape was tested, JM put the pic into evidence but we never heard anything more about it. My running theory has been she used it to tape the gun inside the car like with the second rental and it stuck to her foot or she just dropped it in the laundry room.

Are you able to enlarge the last 2 pics (like on a PC screen) so you can see as much detail as possible? In both of the last two pics I see something that looks like a small buckle moving across the images (pant leg in one, foreground of last one), if it is a buckle then I think it's probably the camera strap - with all the action going on, I don't think she picked up the camera to move it or either of them kept kicking it, I think she had it on her, taping would be logical but then I'd think we'd see visible blood on the tape. I like your thinking though.

I think her question of 'remember when I visited you and I was living in Calif.' during the sex tape is as close to proof as we'll get that it (or parts of it) were recorded before May 10th. The social media blitz I never even thought of, but didn't she open a YT account, and that Flickr account of "travisalexander" that was opened the early morning of the 3rd had to have something to do with her plans, T was wordy, he wouldn't have opened something and only used a one word title and nothing but 6 pics. I wish I'd learned more from Ellery Queen way back when (Jim Hutton, whatacutie) there must be clues in that small album but I haven't figured any out yet.

Blink says the usb cord was never marked for testing, since even we can see a dark area on it that could be blood I have no idea why it wasn't tested, I think she used it - probably to upload the sex pics from her laptop to his camera card. She knew her dna would show up in the office so she gave that bend over the desk story, why didn't she say he spanked her with the cord?

I think the tassle does have something to do with her silencing the gun, it doesn't fit anywhere else unless when she cleaned the banister but what did it come off of?

Those two calls of his the night of the 2nd were the last calls he ever made to her, seems one of them hung up and he called right back, I can't recall the time of them or the Flickr uploads but the pics have the times on the 'more info' area, will have to see where they fit with those 2 calls, time-wise.

So glad you posted Nolachurch, we still have lots to figure out but we're getting somewhere. I'm trying not to write a book too so will read back over your list and see if I have more thoughts. lol
