I lean towards the NYSDEC. If I understand correctly, they are kinda/sorta like oversee'ers of state owned land. (yes, there are better words for this but I don't know 'em right now). I assume they work with other departments (such as the DOT) then maybe the regional offices accept bids on anything outside the departments, and they solicit help from locals?

White male in late 20s-early 30s in 1996, which would make him approximately late 40s-early 50s (if my math is correct, which it often isn't). Childhood: father verbally/physically abusive to mother, father had high expectations of son, possibly sexually abused at the hands of a trusted figure (father/mother/babysitter) or exposed to sex at an early age, more specifically prostitutes or strippers. Teen years: history of alcohol abuse at a young age, spent lots of time at beaches/woods in the area around Jones Beach/Gilgo Beach, probably suspected/accused of rape, but never held accountable (ie no conviction), possibly caught loitering/peeping tom, possibly accused/suspected of kidnap/rape in late 80s-early 90s. Violent outbursts. Job/hobbies: hunting, parks & rec (possibly on voluntary basis), community "figure" (ie volunteer firefighter, EMS, search/rescue volunteer, HOA board member) Adult: married, wife most likely works in the city long hours, he probably drinks to excess at times, possibly creating a rift at those points in his marriage (coinciding with shortly after a murder)

about 40 years ago there was this double murder case. it wasn't the murder case that captured the headlines - it was the story behind the story.

I never felt right on how they made this guy a suspect......something was terribly wrong. did I have an opnion if the guy was guilty or not? I was never quite sure. I knew many of the principal players in this case.

About 5 years ago I was speaking with one of my elders in the PD and he offered me his opinion as to what really happened as to the identification process. BHAM!!! It became crystal clear. There was just no doubt about it in my mind anymore. I knew all of the players, I just didn't understand how they fit, or if they fit at all.

RELATING TO THE GILGO CASE:

I never quite believed this is a case of a typical serial murder case. Something just didn't seem to click. In this crazy world we live in anything is possible. But the dumping of the GB4 in one place just didn't have a true ring to it for a serial killer. You also have to remember those gals, and the others came about by accident. SG didn't really become a major issue until the GB 4 were found. The DA got caught totally flat-footed when the GB4 were found.

THE BHAM FACTORS:

The almost immediate effort to clear JB from the picture. JB is a legitimate POI, and should remain so until they KNOW he isn't anymore. In this circumstance they aren't even close to ruling him out.............UNLESS they know something about what goes on out there than they are willing to tell us.

Spota getting into a 'cat fight' with Dormer. Any respectable DA would never do such a thing unless he panicked the case was getting out of control.

The police commissioner and ME saying SG died from unknown causes and still suggest she didn't die from foul play. Did JB sit down with his co-pervs and said something like: Look, you know the game we play out here. I got her to come out and she went bananas and ran out of the house naked.......yeah, yeah, I get it JB........but what about all the other gals?...............gee, I don't know anything about that... chalk it up to a coincidence......

Then you have that fugazy claim about the nursery owner. When I am able to predict something is going to happen and it does, well, that is no accident. That comes from experience and knowledge. That lie was created by SCPD and DA. Truth is the guy may have actually played a part in the big game of perversion in Oak Beach. my information is all the usual suspects knew each other for many years.

Det.Stephan's letter to Newsday. Where the heck did that come from. Stephan is a 'team player'. He didn't have much to say in the Peter Ghattas murder case - 9/03. even though he had 3 legitimate suspects.

I can only guess what may have happened from what I read in the papers and from my past experiences. One thing I am pretty certain is you can't elimibnate JB as a primary suspect UNTIL you can eliminate him. You simply don't know enough. I know it can be confusing . What I am trying to say is the cops DO have an idea what happened to SG, and probably can take a pretty good guess what happened to the others. Really, how could anyone say JB wasn't involved at that point in time if you weren't trying to cover something up?

My theory is perhaps one or MORE people gave SG drugs and she died of a overdose. In a case like that it might of been to late for her.

Regarding SG: I don't see how you get 3 or 4 witnesses and a 23 minute 911 call - another 911 call - and have them all be consistent.

They are consistent with SG having a paranoid episode and fleeing into a dark marsh while not in her right mind.

Otherwise you have a ridiculous conspiracy. 23 minutes is a L-O-N-G time - and then another neighbor called 911 - and his statement is completely consistent with the others.

You run from what you are afraid of - If you keep running out into the night, that tells me she doesn't think what is going to hurt her is out there in the night. She's afraid of a gentle looking old neighbor that lets her in his house and tells her she's okay - and calls the Cops for her.

If the driver was a murderer that old neighbor would've been dead on that dark night on a dark, dark road.

- In the meantime, SG was found about where my theory said
- LE slept out the chance to have a look on old traffic cam recordings
- LISK has probably in the meantime a newer truck since business leases run for usually three years.
