Just one person turned out to welcome Prince Edward on a Royal visit to Newport.

Devoted royal fan Carol Bader, 48, presented him with a single sunflower, reports the Mirror.

Carol - wearing a Union flag T-shirt - said: "He looked a bit lonely when he saw I was the only one there.

"But the prince didn't seem to mind. He was very charming and came over to chat to me. I'd brought him a single flower rather than a bouquet because I thought it was more manly."
