Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to marry in the spring #2

I peeked in this thread and I'm shocked (and yet not surprised) to see speculation up the yingyang on MM's emotional health, right along with the typical armchair psychiatric diagnosis based on the esteemed peer reviewed academic journals such as "The Daily Mail," "People," and other gossip rags.

Some families are highly dysfunctional and some much less so. You simply cannot know all that has gone on to know why a situation is the way it is in the present.

Unless someone knows her personally and is a credentialed mental health professional who has evaluated and tested MM, claiming MM is any particular personality or has any particular personality disorder is right up there with insisting the alien abduction stories in the National Enquirer are fact-based science.

It's inappropriate to be declaring medical and emotional dx about another person like that, not to mention simply incorrect. NO ONE here knows any these people, including MM, nor has any inside knowledge of the relationships, history, dynamics, etc. IMO this is made-up fantasy, rumor-mongering, gossip, and ultimately projection, all for the sake of self-entertainment.

With all due respect, have you read both threads? If so, you would notice that the vast, vast majority of members posting here have NOT engaged in armchair speculation and diagnosis, so it is not exactly “up the yingyang.” Perhaps it would be best to just report the offensive posts rather than insult and scold the rest of us. Thanks.

Catherine really pulls off the regal look. doesn't she. She is wearing the Queen's earirngs here: Kate Middleton Dipped Into the Queen's Jewelry Box for Their Church Outing: See the Photo!

Beautiful! Here’s what I love and relate to about the Queen JMO...from your link:

“The Queen is entirely disinterested in jewelry as a person.” said Alastair Bruce, who spoke with the Queen for The Coronation documentary.

He added, “There are plenty of people I know who are excited about what they have in a box in their bedroom. The Queen is the guardian of a considerable quantity of jewelry, setting aside the Regalia, but I don’t see her as somebody who’s particularly interested in diamonds and sitting there [cooing over them] like Elizabeth Taylor.” :)

IMO, if she didn’t have to she probably wouldn’t wear any of it. But it’s nice that she spreads it around so we get to see the beautiful artistry that has gone into these pieces.

Yes, I get the impression she treats the jewelry as part of her duty as Queen, things to be worn out of respect rather than as a display.

This article is a year old, but it's a fun read about Catherine's stylist. There is a slideshow with pics of the stylist...and I really like the way she dresses herself (other than the 4" heels while lugging around luggage. Really, you can opt for lower heels when the situation calls for practicality!).

As for Kate, I don't care for the long, off-the-shoulder peasant look on her that is featured at the top of the page - the peasant look doesn't suit Catherine's style, imo, though the dress is nice. I think she looks better in structured clothes rather than flowy, unstructured.

Anyway, enjoy: Who is Kate Middleton’s stylist? Woman behind Duchess of Cambridge’s bold look revealed

Thanks! This was so interesting. I agree about Catherine looking best in structured clothes. Overall Natasha (Tash) does a great job, and Catherine looks wonderful for someone in her position. This is why I wish a real stylist could be working with Meghan, sourcing her clothes and ordering in dresses for her to try on. I’d love to know what Natasha would have picked for Meghan when we hated what she wore.

I would like to see Meghan in more modern cuts. Nothing crazy as they are royal and need to dress on the conservative side, but something more updated and fresh, not so reserved. I think Meghan also looks good in structured, but I'd like to see her break free with some different lines, color, etc. Surprise us with a little something fun - that's what I'd like to see.

Natasha needs to recommend a stylist for Meghan. I bet that would work!

Catherine has been in the firm for awhile now, has been schooled, well groomed, and knows her place. Both Catherine and William act a lot older, matured then others their age. I wish they could real be more at ease, have more fun but that is not their life anymore. As Catherine has carried on more responsibilities and accepted more engagements, the Queen has let Catherine have more access to the jewels in the vault. Harry and Meghan still have a natural laugh, seem not as rigid. I think that is what Diana wanted and wished for her sons and their families....not a structured life as she felt she had once married into the firm. When William is King, I think we will see more changes. Charles is still much old school and will adhere to the firms rules, but not William with Harry being there for him. I see changes coming in the future....being close to 70 I may not see the changes but they are coming. Still William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan are beautiful people who represent the Royal Family well.

Meghan looks great. Her Chignon styled hair is beautiful. I'm not sure I'd call that dress a mini, but she can pull off a short length.

My one critique, I am not particularly fond of the bare leg look, especially for evening ware, looks incomplete.

--I think black stockings would rock that outfit.
I agree about the stockings - black hose would make a better evening/theatre look.

She got to meet Lin-Manuel Miranda! I am a huge fan.

"Miranda told reporters that it’ll be 'fun and surreal' to see the show with the royal.

'You don’t get that every day,' the Tony winner, 38, said. 'You get heads of state, we’ve had some popular folks come see our show, but you don’t often get a direct descendant of one of your main characters.'”

Quote and a nice close-up photo of her clutch purse at the link: Lin-Manuel Miranda Says It's 'Surreal' to Watch Hamilton with Prince Harry (It Mocks His Ancestor!)

Since Meghan and Harry went to see "Hamilton" and met Lin-Manuel Miranda, I think it's okay for us all enjoy a taste of that too. It's hard to find clips of the actual musical on youtube, but I found this video of Lin-Manuel presenting the opening number of "Hamilton" before it went to Broadway several years ago. I think it's great - lots of fun. So, put your fancy black hose on and enjoy! (We'll have to use our imaginations to envision this as a full stage production that Meghan and Harry saw in London!)

This outfit at least fit Meg and did not look bad on her. I agree she needed stockings.
The hair still looked dirty and thrown together. Her smile is way too fake. She does wear pretty lipstick.
