Samantha Markle, the outspoken half-sister of Meghan, was reportedly turned away from the Duchess's doorstep after arriving uninvited.

Samantha, 53, flew in to the UK with the aim of confronting her half-sister but was instead met with a wall of silence after an embarrassing stand-off with palace security.

The move culminated in Samantha, who suffers from MS, handing over a note to Kensington Palace security before buying Royal merchandise.

I would have loved to have seen this.

I’m quite surprise to see the guard reach out to receive the letter. Surely he’d be inundated if everyone is allowed to give him cards and letters for the Royals. And how is he to know it isn’t contaminated somehow? I wonder what he did with it!

They held on to that story, and then released it 10 days later.( which makes me wonder, when the story broke they said it happened 10 days ago, so why did they hold on to it and what was their timing for that publication) I doubt she is still there. But who knows! Where she gets her funding, for her travels, I have no idea.

We'll be hearing enough from her in November with Thanksgiving (She didn't send our father a card) and Christmas (she didn't send our father a gift and she's rich), then New Year's (she didn't send our father well wishes or RSVP to my party invitation), then Valentine's Day (she didn't call our father and tell him she was pregnant with his grandchild), then Easter (....).
She won't be going away over the next 6 months. She has nothing else to do with her time like volunteer, become a spokesperson for MS, look after herself, or anything else meaningful.

You are right SherwoodPark, but I am sure SM and her minder have already thought of anything they can do in England. I am confident that LE and security will be right there watching and take care of everything.

SM does not appear to know how to be positive, helpful and kind to others. I read up on MS....with SM personality and then her disease, I would say it is possible the two are taking a toll. What she is doing is not right but this may explain SOME of her strange behavior.

SM must be in pretty good health and stable with her MS if she could fly to London. Did her boyfriend accompany her?

Some people just can’t see the truth - Megan wants nothing to do with her half sister as she knows SM only wants to gloat about anything or place Megan would take her on the Royal grounds.

Had Megan married a regular citizen of any country, Sister would not be causing all this public drama.

OMG! Half sister from another planet! I completely sympathize with Meghan, I have three half siblings, from my Father. Met them briefly a few times, can count on one hand how many times as kids.

Thank goodness I never became famous. It was bad enough when one wanted to come "visit" me, and I tactfully suggested that was a great idea, and gave him the phone number of the Holiday Inn Express a few miles away. Did I mention that he was recently released from prison?

Would it be totally out of the realm of possibilities for the Royal Family to issue a cease and desist order against Samantha Markle? It seems that Meghan and Harry, thus far, have been able to gracefully circumvent and abstain from commenting on the obnoxious intrusions by Meghan's family members. Also, for the present, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not appear to be negatively affected by the Markles' ridiculous antics to date. How much longer will they be able to retain the "stiff upper lip" before it's determined that the Markle family shenanigans have gone far enough and will no longer be tolerated by the Royals?

That gatehouse that SM was visiting is in fact, a private road leading to exclusive private homes. The street is approx. 2 blocks from KP and although it bears the same name is not the entrance to KP.

There is a portion of KP that SM could have visited, for a fee, as its open to the public and makes for an interesting couple of hours.

Not sure why she didn't actually visit KP, she'd have been in closer proximity to the Sussexs' if she had done. Mind you, she'd never get into the private apartments.

I see no problem with SM, as a private citizen, visiting England, London nor a palace. Seems like she's had a great trip, Italy first, then London....sounds nice.

I hope she had a wonderful time.

Don't you think a lot of this hullabaloo is 'made up' to sell papers and hook people into the DM yellow journalism?? Its truly a rag.

Last thing the DM wants is for her to keep quiet and what would you find in the rags if not for people like herself??

The RF does not send such letters out, they simply ignore and freeze out those who are not wanted. Its not like she can get near them, she cannot so its not really a 'threat'. SM is simply looking for attention but won't get it at KP.

Why would your or my wishes even enter into what SM does/says in the media?

I do get it, the entertainment value but what I fail to 'get' is why people have to be so nasty and pick on an obviously ailing woman in order to make their own lives seem worthwhile. I am speaking in generalities here.

It happens in ever culture but it is a particularly nasty trait of the British.

If you don't believe me, just go to any comments section of the DM and see the bitter, jealous and mean comments over absolutely nothing that a wealthy person has accomplished, is wearing or has said. Its quite revolting, IMO

PS, I am mostly British myself but not THAT kind of British.
