Problems logging into beta forum (attn DaveAHFB)

Hi,
Sillybilly directed me to make a thread here if my problem hadn't resolved in a day or two.

Simply put, the beta forum doesn't recognize me. I log in with the directed general username and password to get on to the site, and then when I attempt to re-log with my personal username and password, I get a message that no such user exists. FWIW, I'm using Chrome and I've tried it in Firefox, but I don't think it's a browser issue.

I use my IPhone and Tapatalk normally. This will probably not help at all but I had issues at first I logged out of Tapatalk. Opened the new site in safari browser and retried. Also something glitched a bit with my login and password when they were sent and had an extra * at end and beginning (not sure if it was login or password) but I dropped it of and it worked.
I hope someone comes along to help. I notice Ana mentioned it could be due to the test site being older - was someone able to check that idea for you.
