Prosecution of Casey Anthony movie discussion thread

Notice they just said only "George has severed all ties with Casey". See!!!! Wow

It went by quickly but I thought I read this show was produced by CBS.

I just realized that they didn't talk about the foolproof suffocation. Or did I miss it? I did get up to get coffee. They talked about it in the beginning - but I didn't see anything else about it. Did I miss it?

I would think Baez was ticked off ............because his actor was NOT Rob Lowe :floorlaugh:

I guess the new evidence was more like JB's opening statement - a beginning talk with nothing to back it up.
LOL

Thank you and it was updated because they said at the end that JB was representing several of the victims of the Aurora theater shooting. So,,,,,,,,what was that all about? Why talk about it in the beginning and then never bring it back up?

Now on to the "cast of characters" that JB called.

Spitz - dissing Dr. G

The crazy lady that talked about dogs and coyotes

"Sally Smirnoff" - the grief expert.

Wow - looking back at this - what a cast of characters they were. The State had the big experts and they explained very well - yet the "cast of characters" were believe more by the jury.

Just boggles the mind.........

What gets me is that the prosecution had their own witnesses, and as Jeff questioned the Defense witnesses, to me they became prosecution witnesses. Ashton did such an excellent job cross-examining the defenses own witness that they ended up agreeing with Jeff. It outraged me that that jury couldn't see that.

IMO Rob Lowe was a casting choice that was right on, also CM. plus, according to his many comments, RL's heart is in the right place. the LDB actress was too bland and did not present the "fierce" appearance of her RL counterpart. didn't care for those who played JB/GA/CA either

guess I'll mosey on over to 48 Hours and watch Picture Perfect/Trial of Jodi Arias

I still have to say both these show were disappointing to me. I agree with the poster that said a mini series should of been done. That poster might have been our Steely. The only thing about that is I would not want any of the defense team, any of the Anthony s profiting from it. I am wondering if any did profit with this second show. If it could be done without them profiting I would watch especially if it showed ALL the stalling, antics, emotions, lack of emotions, positioning and the schooling of JB was portrayed.
With that said I thought Rob Lowe was good and the girl that portrayed Casey had a much better figure. How's that working for you Casey.

I had wrote this a few nights ago but I wanted to bring it here.

I wonder if Jeff would have ran for the job if Caylee had gotten Justice. He still would have been able to write a book ,do the movie and retire with the money. I suspect he might not have had they convicted FCA.He knew he and his team worked very hard, but the system failed and it failed big time.To a defense team that seemed more like watching the 3 stooges then to be watching Lawyers in a Court room IMO.To someone who loves what they do,put their heart into fighting for justice, then to hear not guilty, not even of the lesser charges except lying must have floored him it sure floored us.So maybe that was part of Caylees purpose ,why she was here for such a brief speck of time.Mr.Ashton is right where he needs to be and I deeply believe it is because of FCA's verdict. He realized changes need to be made and he is the man to do it. All JMO.

People on Facebook have me engraged!! I've seen two people tonight saying pretty much that they think Casey is innocent. And I won't lie when I say I flipped out!! I don't even care but that enrages me that ANYONE would think that woman is innocent!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

For anyone having followed the case closely, watched the trial and read JA's book the movie was a big disappointment. I could have done without JVM and Nancy Grace, too!
I haven't watched the hour show after it since I set the DVR a week ago and didn't realize the show was on so I set it to record the next showing so I am going to stop reading now as I don't want to read any spoilers! I loved Rob Lowe as Drew P. but not so much JA. The movie lacked the passion and emotions of the real players. JMO

DO NOT LET THEM GET YOU!
I have spent all week ighting then realized what was going on!
So many groups that supposedly care about Caylee have been trying to get everyone to not watch the movie! They all kept lying saying all the money is going to FCA just so no one watches. I swear they are all trolls from BOZO or CA!
