Another interesting thing in those postings is someone claiming that an AF from Massapequa told his relative he was questioned in the murders while she was out alone on his boat with him.
This AF has deep mob ties according to a 2011 NY Daily News article. He was heavily involved with road construction union corruption (kickbacks for allowing the hire of non-union workers, skirting safety issues etc. etc.) and once removed by tan FBI crackdown started his own union that represents pavers, road construction, *landscape workers* etc.
Not hard to believe he'd maybe be on their radar at some point.
