We've had a summer of hikers go missing, and now it seems a winter of folks falling overboard on cruise ships and snowmobilers lost or missing.

I feel so bad for him- was it self harm, or did someone push him off? Prayers he is found soon.

Suicide? Wasn’t the most recent occurrence on another such ship a suicide?

Seems like cruise ships are open to a lot of deaths...have never been attracted to a cruise, less so since the numerous E-coli-type events...but good grief :( very sad however this young man was lost.

This is just so sad. He's so young, sounds like he had a fun and exciting job, his life ahead of him.

Are they sure that he went overboard? Is there a video of him going over? Did someone see him go over? Did someone push him?

Sounds like suicide to me. Sad.

I always wonder how they are so sure they went over... was he seen totally drunk or something? Was he suicidal? It's not like it is just easy to stumble off the boat. It takes some effort. Was anyone else seen entering or exiting at all? Was he in a relationship with another crew member? So strange.

Just me but his eyes look haunted, in a sad way.

Cruise ship entertainer tweeted eerie message before he went missing

Entertainer Arron Hough tweeted an unsettling message four days before he went missing off the Royal Caribbean cruise liner.

The 20-year-old, a British native who was a cast member in the Harmony of the Seas' production of Grease, was last seen on closed circuit cameras at 4am on December 25. Alarm was raised when he failed to show up to work later that day.

Four days before his disappearance, Hough tweeted a cryptic message to his followers.

On December 21 at 11:42pm local time, he wrote, "Beneath the water is beauty... Always look beneath the surface before you decide on things."

In an earlier tweet that day, Hough expressed his discomfort at the conditions on the ship, "Just downed a full bottle of water n the ships rocky af [as f—k] and I can feel it swilling around in me gut n it’s not that nice tbf [to be fair]."

This was consistent with a tweet he shared on December 20, writing, "Falling over with the rocking like wtf [what the f—k]."

On December 22 at 10:17pm, he shared an upbeat video of his performance in Grease. This was his last tweet.

often wondered if we wear a fit bit or have phones why do we get in an oceanliner than does not see land and not be GPS tagged as a wristband for safety. seems to me a big breath in safety risk man that can be easily fixed and accounted for.

Wouldn't you want a wrist of a leg band to know the ship you on is going to bring you home?
