PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – The world's most famous groundhog predicted an early spring Wednesday, but wasn't willing to go out on a limb to forecast whether the nearby Pittsburgh Steelers will win Sunday's Super Bowl.

I'll believe it when I see it! (Spring, not the Steelers winning, lol.)

Down here in New Orleans, we depend on T-Boy Nutria to predict the onset of spring. He didn't see his shadow, and that's just fine by me. Although his Mardi Gras float sported a Super Bowl vanity plate, a reminder of last year's Saints victory, he didn't make any predictions about this year's game. But I happen to know his bookie who told me ole T-Boy's betting heavy on the Steelers. ;)
Did T-Boy Nutria see his shadow?

Zookeeper Paul Benoit listens for a prognostication from T-Boy the nutria as the Audubon Zoo put on its annual Louisiana twist on Groundhog Day on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. The 2-week old nutria emerged from a mini Mardi Gras float, complete with a Super Bowl vanity plate, and did not see its shadow, meaning an early end to winter.
