On or about April 17, 2009 the PCSO released a press release that was reported to state specifically that Crystal and Ronald Cummings were not considered suspects in the disappearance of Haleigh. I can't find that press release.

Second question:

Terry Shoemaker (IIRC) was on the NG show stating where he thought RC was in position on the list of Suspects in the disappearance of Haleigh.

To anyone that knows where I can find the following info thank you very much in advance. I have spent the last hour looking!

Unfortunately, I don't have a link for you. From what I remember from this show is that TS said RC moved from the top to the bottom of the list. Unfortunately, he did not say how how many people were on this so called list.

PCSO Pres Release: Haleigh’s 6th Birthday and The Investigation

Today marks Haleigh Cummings’ sixth birthday, and a little over six months into the investigation of her disappearance. Sheriff Hardy’s interest in the public’s desire to bring Haleigh home, have led him to release the following update on the investigation.

Investigators from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and investigators from agencies throughout Florida have invested thousands of man-hours into the investigation thus far.

Here are some of the facts:

* We have received in excess of 4,000 leads, all of which have been followed up.
* We have conducted 138 formal interviews and several hundred informal interviews with potential witnesses. DNA samples were collected from many of those interviewed and compared to evidence collected in the case.
* FDLE processed the crime scene. Many items of potential evidentiary value were collected and sent to FDLE’s crime lab for analysis (ie. for fingerprints and DNA). All of evidence has been examined and/or processed, but none of it has identified any suspect or additional leads as to who the suspect(s) may be.
* We have searched thousands of acres, including all property south of Highway 17 near the Cummings residence.
* We have had numerous underwater recovery and search teams search all of the water near the area of the disappearance.
* Aviation assets have conducted several airborne searches.
* K9 assets have searched the area on several occasions.
* Volunteer civilian searchers on foot and horseback searched the wooded areas near the residence.

At this point, the evidence and investigatory effort has minimized the likelihood that Haleigh’s disappearance is the work of a stranger. There is no specific individual whom investigators have identified as a person of interest. The biological parents, Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield, are not considered to be suspects in the case. Investigators believe that Misty Croslin-Cummings continues to hold important answers in the case. She has failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting of the hours during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh’s disappearance. Furthermore, physical evidence at the scene contradicts Misty’s sketchy account of her evening activities. Any citizen with direct knowledge of Misty’s activities during that evening or into the early morning is encouraged to report that information to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Hardy realizes the importance of keeping the public involved in this case, and appreciates all of the leads that have been provided. Every lead that is provided is acted on by investigators. Sheriff Hardy cautions that because there are many who claim to be valid media outlets, that citizens should be careful not to fall into the trap of believing, or by accident spreading, the untrue and unreliable claims and assumptions of many bloggers who claim to be knowledgeable in the case. He also urges anyone that is assisting, or who wants to assist, to be cautious to stay within the bounds of their authority as they pursue their activities.

Sheriff Hardy wants to assure the public, but mainly Haleigh’s family, that we will continue to aggressively pursue this case and that we welcome the assistance of all Law Enforcement agencies or any other expert, including air, water, and ground searchers, that can assist in bringing Haleigh home.

Why does Timmy say he won't return to Putnam County because he is afraid he will get arrested?

Well, I know I'll be slammed for this, however, do you think Lindsay had no knowledge about what happened to little Haleigh? Do you think she didn't know about the stolen items that she LEAD the police to?

Do you think that Lindsay didn't know that her husband was a druggie, thief, lier, however she let Tommy, his druggie parents, Misty's druggie friend, Nay Nay stay in her home around her children. I think Lindsay knows sooooooo much and I'm sure I'll be bashed for this, but I don't care.

Also, Lindsay knew that Tommy and Lisa stole from an old blind man. She knew, she absolutely new it.......and she went along with all this.

Believe me Lindsay has known everything for a long time.

1. Did GGMS say she drove by and waved at Haleigh and Jr?

2. Did one of RC's uncles say something to the effect of "I'm not a snitch, I'm not going to rat out anyone?"

Is this just rumor?

GGS said that "we" went to the MH and dropped off laundrey. She said little Haleigh and Jr. were on the screened in porch (around 7 or 7:30) eating their dinner on a cold February evening. According to GGS the children ran out to give her a kiss. (Believe that?)

Yes, and I can't remember which one, perhaps Ron's Uncle Donald. :woohoo:

My question is: Why would LE be negotiating with Ron (I know this is rumor but if it's true I am confused) to testify against Tommy and Misty when everything was caught on tape? Why would they need him to testify? This is really bugging me so maybe there's something I'm not getting. Thanks.

It's my belief that the negotiations are coming from the other direction, and as yet, LE has not bothered to take up the deal.

Good Morning..No, we have not heard why Law Enforcement were at 116 Tyler on the night Haleigh went missing. This is a talking point for me too because we have no info about it and it is all mysterious like. Anyways, the youtube vid is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJzzICI328A

(not just the date) then would be able to determine whether or not it is in a close time period to the 911 call from green lane.

Yes there is lil momma, the docket reads that there is an officers report, however it isn't online anywhere and if I am not mistaken, one of our members had inquired about getting a copy and posting it for us, but it hasn't been posted yet. not sure of the status on that! You are right the officers report would sure clear it up!

1.) Haleigh's hair is more the shades of light brown then blonde. I guess Misty could have used dark blonde or light brown.

2.) No one knows that one yet that I am aware of.

3.) I don't think we were able to get a "confirmed" time that Ron arrived at work, punched in, took breaks or lunch or what time he punched out. I recall a lot of speculation, but haven't seen his time card to date.
