Hey everyone, I’m a new member so I’m not quite sure if this is in the right spot. I looked up his name in the search tab, and didn’t find anything about it on this site yet. This man, Quanyaves Lindsay went missing on November 24, 2019 in New Jersey. His remains were eventually found on January 11, 2020 near a creek. His car was later recovered from from a river in the same town his body was found, but not in the same water way.

Here are a few news articles from the investigation. Not much has been uncovered about this case. Has anyone else heard about it, or have any ideas as to what happened?

If this thread is in the wrong spot, please let me know and I will remove it and post it elsewhere.

I am local to the area. I did not know the victim, but many of my friends knew him well. I remember when the case was first reported, my Facebook newsfeed was inundated with posts about it every day.

Thanks for the advice about reporting the post to a moderator, I’ll try that!

I followed Quan's missing case from the first MSM reports. I was active in the search for FB group and tried to keep his wife's spirits up by commenting on the group page. Not familiar with anyone, nor local. North Texas is home to me.

According to the highway loss data institute, the dodge hellcat is the second most stolen car... and he had quite a nice one per the pictures, but then it was dumped. So if they were not after his quite nice car, I have to wonder what he did, or they thought he did...
I hope they get some traffic camera footage etc. and solve this quick.
