Excellent question! If LH and RH had spoken for one minute at 4:04pm, did he fail to mention the 5pm movie plans? He left his office 12 minutes later with plans of going somewhere and she didn't know that? Either he was lying to her or they're both lying. Phone records are going to show this call and exactly what was said. I can't wait.

Phone records will show the call, but won't show exactly what was said. Unless it was a voicemail and LE got the recording. He could have just got her voicemail and left a message, maybe saying he was going to a movie with the guys. She may or may not have listened to that voicemail. If not, her going to his office after the daycare makes sense. Otherwise, nothing but her being in on it with him makes much sense to me.

I'm not sure where the original story came from about RH having no sense of smell.
I don't know if he can smell or not, but I do find more than a little "coincidental" that he claims to have lost 1 1/2 of his 5 senses at age 33.
We have the story about a bottle rocket going of IN his ear, and him needing multiple surgeries for that and him losing 99% of his hearing. Now we have the "unable to smell " story, and few details. When did he lose this?

I guess maybe it's true, at least the legal teams following the srory are checking into it.

Apparently that car really REALLY smelled BAD, for no one to be able to believe he was able to drive from the Treetop to Akers Mill with the windows up.

They want him to see a doctor. They are also questioning if a syndrome causing it.

I find it all too convenient.
An excuse he may have used to avoid extra work or to claim "oh sorry I didn't hear you".
I could swear I was taught if you can't smell you can't taste.

He always ordered chicken, rice, nacho cheese and tortillas.
4 of the BLANDEST foods on earth IMO!!!
Either he still had a child's palette and never tried new foods, an eating disorder or he really couldn't taste food to begin with.
That choice of good sounds like toddler food IMO.

I have a question that you smart people can possibly answer. Do you think that the amount of stuff that was released at the PCH was done to turn public opinion against both RH and LH, and not just to prove probable cause? Remember at that time people were feeling so sorry for that poor couple, donating copious amounts of money, and bad mouthing the police for their treatment of RH. Given all that, did prosecutors go "above and beyond" to show the public a little insight into the life of this sweet, churchgoing couple to stop the donations and the accusations of police cruelty? Or was that all really needed and normal for a PCH?

I could see it being a little bit about putting LH on notice and perhaps warning people who were donating money that they may want to rethink that (although I think that was handled with the "shocks my conscience" stmt given earlier by LE).... but I also think they were really trying to make sure it was loud & clear for the judge that CH did NOT die by accident and that RH should NOT get bail ...

I think they went a bit above and beyond at that PCH too, partly, I think, to alert potential donors but also to show the defense just how strong a case they have.

In fairness, fast good isn't exactly gourmet or sophisticated. It's sole purpose it to be fast and appeal to as many people as possible.

True, it just sounded like maybe they regularly went to a Mexican place (cause he said no beans) and I'm thinking ICK!

Not white in a race, the actual color of the food.
As a nurse thats something we dealt with in the 4-5 yr old range. Very odd for a college student. IMO

Yes. My guess is he eats a lot of fast food, which will pack on the pounds. He might not especially enjoy food, if he indeed doesn't have a sense of smell, but when he's hungry, he goes for the easy fast food.

Also, if you don't have a sense of smell, complex "real food" wouldn't have an appeal to him. And, just my opinion on this, but fast food matches what I see as his immaturity. I don't see him having a sophisticated food palate or an interest in grown-up food, which takes time, effort, and taste for real ingredients. He's not a healthy or mature eater, IMO.

I am, however, awaiting proof he actually has a problem with his smell.

Someone offered a suggestion earlier on another thread -- perhaps LH DID know about the movie but thought he would ride with someone else and took off for the Treehouse to locate RH's car...

If that is what happened, then his departure from work at 4:16 pm must not have been intended info for her to know. Or maybe it was. He just didn't plan on dealing with the decomp.
