I just had some questions regarding Caseys employment, or lack of, and could really benefit from all your expert knowledge!
As we know, Casey lied about working at Universal Studios to her friends a long time after she ceased employment there in 2002. She went to extraordinary lengths in maintaining this charade as illustrated through her text messages to Amy where she constantly refers to her ‘crazy work schedule’ and actually plans all her activities around it!!!!

* For approximately how long did Casey fool everyone about her job at Universal?
(Had she simply continued to claim working there after her employment ceased at Universal in 2002, or did she pretend to return to the job at a later date for example?)

* To whom was she making these false claims- did it include EVERYONE around her- all her friends and more significantly her family?? (Was there anyone she confided in who knew the truth of her employment? Im wondering if her family participated in the charade)

* Is it possible she had some type of cash-in-hand employment or means of raising money which she undertook during the hours she claimed to be engaged at Universal?
(She can’t have supported her lifestyle with only occasional stolen checks/cash…did her family provide financial support?)

1. She never went back to work after maternity leave. Her position had been taken over by Kodak from Universal.

2. She lied to everyone, friends, family...no one has come out to say otherwise.

3. I personally think she did, some don't

The whole time she is nestled in his arms, being just as sweet and cuddly as she could be to her Poppa.

I just don't get it, as long as I walk this Earth I will never understand why Casey couldn't just sign over custody to her Mom. It happens all the time. Why did she have to be ripped away from everything she knew and loved, only to be thrown in a bag intended for trash, and left to rot through the summer?? How could she sleep in her bed at the house while out on bond KNOWING her daughter was decomposing less than 20 houses away from where she slept??

So if Casey lied to EVERYONE about her employment at Universal, including her family, how did she spend her time during business hours?? How did she pull it off when she was living at home with her parents? She must have woken up early everyday to feign getting ready for work before leaving for ‘a hectic day at the office’ with Caylee in tow. Its amazing how much energy she invested in this charade! Its apparent from those text messages how devoted she was to creating this illusion-such attention to detail throughout her constant work references. She sure was a creative, skillful liar!
But what was she doing day after day during the many hours she claimed to be at work? And what did she do with Caylee during these hours?
I think the answer may play an important role in understanding this whole drama. I think this case is a lot more complex than it appears.

I remember that video distinctly,

The part that got to me was the way Cindy kept at wiping Caylee's mouth with a towel, to remove cake from face.

I got from that that Cindy was sending a message,
"You might be holding her but I am the real caretaker & parent figure."

I thought Cindy kept at it seems for a purposely exaggerated period of time.

I have discussed this disturbing video for months in another forum. The dynamics are simple, once pointed out, and "right there"...exactly mirroring what occured later...and leads to Caylees death.

Casey is holding Caylee, Caylee has frosting on her hands. Cindy takes Caylee's hand and smears Caseys face with frosting. Casey looks toward her mom, like she wants to smear her with frosting, you can see Casey is angry...

however INSTEAD SHE TAKES CAYLEE'S HAND and smears frosting on CAYLEES FACE...to get back at her mom, Cindy immmediately reacts by being disturbed and wiping the face of Caylee, disgusted with Casey.

Casey has developed a behavior pattern of taking out on Caylee the anger, frustration and aggressiveness she has toward Cindy. Displaced anger, because Casey is intimidated by Cindy....

Now if the fight was bad enough on the 15th, and Cindy choked Casey, after watching the dynamics in the video, I would place money on Casey, choking Caylee.......

at 18 seconds into the video, this portion is played...watch it first, then watch it without sound, then go backward through it...very telling IMO

I'm twisting in the wind with exactly the same thoughts. And here's one more possibility--Some reports describe the clothing found with Caylee's remains as a swimsuit. Now, according to Cindy, on the evening of 6/15, she and Caylee swam in the backyard pool. (Either before or after the huge blowup between CA and Casey.) That opens up the possibility that when CA took Caylee out of the pool and into the house, she handed Caylee over to Casey, and said something like, "Get off your @ss, Casey, and act like a mother for once. Your daughter needs a bath and dry clothes, and then she needs to go to bed!"

And when Cindy left the room, Casey grabbed Caylee up, put a towel or sheet around her and stormed out, never to be seen again with Caylee.

That would account for a swim suit and towel or sheet being in the bag with Caylee's remains--if indeed those items were found in the bag.

But what about the book Caylee had been reading to GGF that morning? How did it get in the woods? What a puzzle!

However, if GA is to be believed, he last saw tot mom and Caylee around 1:00p.m. on June 16th. He says he remembers the time because he was watching a favorite Food Channel show before going to work, and tot mom and Caylee came in both with backpacks (maybe explaining Caylee's book at scene), and said that Caylee was going to nanny's and tot mom was going to work.

I don't see what you are seeing at all. That same scene has played out dozens of times with my babies and my MIL or older female relatives who stepped in as gmas since my mother passed away decades ago. It was all good fun between us.

Great post---excellent observations. This video disturbed me when I first saw it. Re-visiting it just emphasizes the adversarial relationship between CA and KC. KC is definitely intimidated by CA but always seems to try to "one up" her. It is seen in the jail videos as well--when CA says she wants Caylee back, KC says I want her back. What a sick dynamic--can you imagine the tension in that house? Caylee was indeed a shining star, the only bright spot in their lives, it seems. In this video with the cake, little Caylee is caught in the middle between two people she loves AND trusts. Thanks for sharing this as it, once again, gives us more insight into their lives and psychological make up.

In some families, it may just be good fun. I don't see that with the A's.

The A's may be the screwiest family ever. But not every action or interaction rises to the level of sinister. Sometimes when people get up to brush their teeth, it just means someone got up to brush their teeth. In the case of the video, I think the same applies. But that's just me.

yes indeedy.....they were a good read...loved jb "be nice"----the things he wants shouldn't detain the autospy......then the motion filed...loved that aspect as well..loved the judge signed it for 1-6 (? could be wrong on the date)---jose just wants to be the busy looking atty.... seeking justice and truth but settling for ????????? :boohoo::boohoo::boohoo:
