I just don't get it, as long as I walk this Earth I will never understand why Casey couldn't just sign over custody to her Mom. It happens all the time. Why did she have to be ripped away from everything she knew and loved, only to be thrown in a bag intended for trash, and left to rot through the summer?? How could she sleep in her bed at the house while out on bond KNOWING her daughter was decomposing less than 20 houses away from where she slept??

To a normal sane person that would be the best option. But I honestly believe that Caylee died in a moment of anger...after Casey and Cindy had it out and got into that fight... poor Caylee. Casey would have never given her up to Cindy. It bothered Casey enough as it was that everyone loved Caylee more than they loved her.
She has some serious issues.

So if Casey lied to EVERYONE about her employment at Universal, including her family, how did she spend her time during business hours?? How did she pull it off when she was living at home with her parents? She must have woken up early everyday to feign getting ready for work before leaving for ‘a hectic day at the office’ with Caylee in tow.

Although she had worked at the Kodak store before having Caylee, from what I understand, after she left/was fired from Universal, she was telling people she was an event planner. Event planners normally work at night, after hours. Special events are when companies rent out the parks after hours (after Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are closed.) Most events start around 7:30 PM and sometimes don't start until 9:00 PM and run until midnight or so. Perfect hours for her to be visiting "friends" or bars at night. I think Casey made her work hours to be whatever she wanted to do that day. If she wanted to leave at 2:00 PM for work, she could tell her parents that she had to get things set up for the event that night.

Her friends (who didn't work for the themeparks) would have no idea what hours she should be at work. Most likely they thought she worked from 8-4. She could sleep in at her parents and then meet friends in the evening/late afternoon. Her friends would assume she was already off work for the day. so she could party at night while her parents thought she was at work.

The A's may be the screwiest family ever. But not every action or interaction rises to the level of sinister. Sometimes when people get up to brush their teeth, it just means someone got up to brush their teeth. In the case of the video, I think the same applies. But that's just me.

SuziQ,I have to agree with you. I saw no anger in this video at all. Actually,I think the whole thing was kind of cute,especially when Caylee started eating the cake off of Caseys' face...and Casey did kiss Caylee in return.

I'm curious as to how many of us have heard of people descibing their lies as "mistuths or half truths," before this trial. I personally have never in 54 yrs. ever heard anyone using those terms for lying until this case. CA is so adamant about her less than forthright comments.

I just listened to George's video taped interview with the FBI , part 4 on July 31st. About 9 mins in, he states that Casey had borrowed his wife's car & he chased her. :bang: He states this was after the gas can theft he'd reported on June 24th, so he's saying it was maybe the 26th of June when she borrowed the car from Cindy, who was home, & that Casey had left her car there at the house. He chased her & lost her, WHY? FBI questions that this was now 10 days that they haven't seen their grandaughter. George had keys to the pontiac, so why didn't he go back & look thru her car then??:waitasec:

Why didn't Cindy question where Caylee was or look in the car & see the carseat? This was the DAY BEFORE she left it at Amscot on the 27th of June & the smell had to be there at that time!!

Please someone help here!

I agree. 54 here too. We call them lies. Never have heard of mistruths or half truths until now. I mean I have heard those words but only when someone was being polite etc...A lie is a lie not a mis or half truth.

Do you think after calling KC on her lies so often they had to call it something besides a lie in order to tone it down in order to get an answer from her?

I have discussed this disturbing video for months in another forum. The dynamics are simple, once pointed out, and "right there"...exactly mirroring what occured later...and leads to Caylees death.

Casey is holding Caylee, Caylee has frosting on her hands. Cindy takes Caylee's hand and smears Caseys face with frosting. Casey looks toward her mom, like she wants to smear her with frosting, you can see Casey is angry...

however INSTEAD SHE TAKES CAYLEE'S HAND and smears frosting on CAYLEES FACE...to get back at her mom, Cindy immmediately reacts by being disturbed and wiping the face of Caylee, disgusted with Casey.

Casey has developed a behavior pattern of taking out on Caylee the anger, frustration and aggressiveness she has toward Cindy. Displaced anger, because Casey is intimidated by Cindy....

Now if the fight was bad enough on the 15th, and Cindy choked Casey, after watching the dynamics in the video, I would place money on Casey, choking Caylee.......

at 18 seconds into the video, this portion is played...watch it first, then watch it without sound, then go backward through it...very telling IMO

I guess everyone sees things differently. I thought Cindy was trying to have a little fun for the camera. Casey took it too far. She grabs Caylee's arm so recklessly, I thought she was going to yank it out of the socket.

I didn't see Cindy doing anything excessive by wiping off Caylee. Casey messed up her face pretty good. I think there was a lot to be wiped off.

*edited to add* I should have watched the video again before I posted the above. They both do yank at Caylee's arm. I think it started out as "fun" and went a little too far by both of them. All families do these idiotic things in videos, though.

I do not feel Casey is intimidated by Cindy at all. Casey is the bully that calls the shots, imo. Like LP says, everyone tip toes around her.

I saw another video of Casey and Caylee, where Caylee is standing behind a toy and Casey is bending over smiling at her. At the end of the video she starts to grab Caylee to pick her up. Casey looks very rough to me. I think she was rough with Caylee. It's like she's smiling with venom coming out of her pores.

This has not been verified by anyone else. What time? 12:50 pm. So the 16th is the last day Caylee was seen? According to George. It was either the 15th or 16th imo.

Chica, I agree with you. The dynamics are "play but retaliate." Both Casey and cindy use Caylee as a means to "playfully" shove cake into the other's face. Caylee's arm is yanked by both of them. Ha. Ha. That was funny. Not.

Ok,Thankyou very much for answering me.How accurate do you think this persons staement was?Do they know who this person was?Did the police check his phone or cell or pay phone if he?really talked to Casey?Do you know where Casey was these two days and what she was doing?

Great post---excellent observations. This video disturbed me when I first saw it. Re-visiting it just emphasizes the adversarial relationship between CA and KC. KC is definitely intimidated by CA but always seems to try to "one up" her. It is seen in the jail videos as well--when CA says she wants Caylee back, KC says I want her back. What a sick dynamic--can you imagine the tension in that house? Caylee was indeed a shining star, the only bright spot in their lives, it seems. In this video with the cake, little Caylee is caught in the middle between two people she loves AND trusts. Thanks for sharing this as it, once again, gives us more insight into their lives and psychological make up.

The dynamics show that CA won't day wipe cake on her moms face...but she will wipe cake frosting on Caylees face...or hurt (not that the frosting hurt) but she would USE Caylee...to get back at her mom....the frosting on Caylee's face upset Cindy....

If she wasn't intimidated by her mom, she would have smeared the frosting on Cindy's face....for smearing it on hers....instead she smeared on on Caylee's.....Why not Cindy's

The same thing happend the night Caylee died, which I believe is the 15th...the night CA choked Casey....Casey immediately thereafter...choked Caylee, still in her bathing suit and swim diaper....either Cindy was there or she wasn't......keep in mind also that an individual can be strangled, and die sometime within the next 36 hours due to the damage....

Caylee died after her swim with Cindy....still wet with chlorine in her hair and her bathing suit on

whether anger is seen or it isn't seen....isn't the point....

After Cindy smears Casey....
Casey doesn't get her mother back by smearing her.....she smears Caylee instead....

That which Cindy did to her, she does to Caylee....because she won't go after Cindy...

Cindy Choked Casey...Casey choked Caylee, because she wouldn't or couldn't choke her mother..

That was my point anyway....
