Quick thinking woman outwits mugger

This woman carrying bags back to her home was suddenly faced with a pair of muggers one of whom jumped off the back of a motorbike with the obvious intention of mugging her. Surveillance cameras caught her lightening reaction that saved her bags, and saw the mugger turn tail and run.

The original security footage video came from a Montana-based TV station, although it's featured on a South African news website. I'm not certain the attempted mugging took place in either of those places though, but if I had to pick one location I'd say that's South Africa. If it is Montana I'm sure someone will let me know.

The video at the link is over fast and ends in triumph, but is a little tense until the would-be mugger runs away. The woman seems very cool and collected.

It's posted on South Africa's Herald PE Facebook page too, so I think this must have happened in SA. The comments aren't any help though - there's somebody else there asking where it happened too. I'm beginning to think it might even be Italy?

the videos look more random I think, the channel was posting a lot of Khmer music about a year ago and then nothing until a few videos recently

That was a smart woman. That German shepherd would certainly watch her bags for her! I'm glad the good guy (gal) won for a change.
