I dont believe any of this was done for the purpose of being in the spotlight. But I dont think anyone made a decision to end JonBenets life. However, just to keep the record straight as to your points:They lost all of their money and privacy after her death. Patsy's physical appearance detoriated. Her cancer returned and claimed her life. Close friends of their's left them, how does this reflect a person enjoying the spotlight?
- They didnt lose all their money. Yes, they spent a tremendous amount of money on lawyers, hired investigators, private polygraphs, public relations experts, etc. -- BY THEIR CHOICE! They downsized to only one home instead of two. Much of all that money spent was recouped from lawsuit settlements, book sales, and selling the rights to photos of JonBenet after her death. The Ramseys were never poor after JonBenets died.
- Losing privacy wouldnt be an issue if it was indeed the case that someone enjoyed the spotlight.
- The deterioration of Patsys physical appearance (your description) had nothing to do with being in the spotlight.
- Patsys return of cancer and death had nothing to do with the choices they made or the results of those decisions.
- It is true that some of the Ramseys close friends abandoned them -- after John and Patsy Ramsey cast suspicion on them to police as to whether or not they might be responsible for sexually assaulting and murdering their child. But its just really hard to expect a close friend to stand behind you when that close friend has thrown you under the proverbial bus.
