RE: Where is the information about TH coming from?

  • #21
This has puzzled me. How did this guy just come out of nowhere, suddenly become Terri's main squeeze, photographing the RO, etc.? Could he be a plant?

It would make sense, particularly in the beginning, if he was sent in under deep cover, trying to obtain info to break the case open...

I have given this some thought too. I think that perhaps he is 'deep undercover'. Either that or I think that he and TH were hooked up before Kyron went missing. The way that he just kind of showed up out of the blue seems kind of hinky to me. It seems like very little is known about MC for some reason. Or perhaps I should say that very little info about MC has been released at this point, but I'm sure that LE knows LOTS about him! :waitasec: MOO!

I doubt very much MC is working with LE; to me, he appears to be not the sharpest tool in drawer, etc...and I doubt he would have been speaking out way back around 6/6 about not jumping to conclusions or whatever he said. Surely LE could have found someone closer to Terri (Dede perhaps?) if they wanted to "plant" someone ih her midst for information. This guy just isn't it, to me. Terri may be prone to sext and fool around and flirt with a man but if she was going to confess, I'd bet it would be to a woman friend.

I agree that he may not be working with LE, but he may be working with someone, or he may have launched this mission on his own. It just makes more sense to me that he was trying to play hero than he had any real interest in Terri.

The information is coming from his phone. Why his phone? If Terri is under surveillance, why not her phone? If LE had Terri under surveillance, they would have captured the information. It's just interesting to me that when referencing the information, reports reference his phone.

Well, he said he hadn't actually done the deed with her! Apparently when undercover (no irony intended) officers are trying to entrap prostitutes, they are allowed to do certain things, take off their pants, kiss the girls, etc, but they can't go all the way. Note to self: do they still call "it" all the way, and do cops still entrap pros?
As long as he's not texting pictures of himself...

HOLY COW!! That ain't the way they do it on COPS!!

Excellent points!! Why not from her phone? Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but has the information regarding text messages come from LE, did MC release it or did it come from an unnamed source?

Maybe it was on her phone and MC's phone, but LE didn't want to tip her off that her phone is being watched?

Didn't he claim he did it on his own, to try to get Terri to talk ?

Yes, they still "entrap" them. 2 years ago we had a big mess over tax payer money being spend on "professionals" being nabbed this way.

From having worked with vice cops and with women coming out of prostitution, you're right the cops can't "go all the way" -- however, as to any kissing, it's very interesting that the women usually don't include kissing as part of their services.

Kissing actually feels too "intimate" -- and is something they reserve for personal relationships. It's a way to set a psychological "boundary" that helps them keep an emotional distance. (I know you didn't ask specifically about this; however, it is one of the things I originally was surprised to learn from the women -- although I could also see how it made "sense" in a profession that is so invasive.)

Also, the major goal for the vice cops is to get the woman to say what she will do, using sexual terms, for what amount of money -- and this is what "entraps" her. Women know this and have all kinds of ways to try to get the guy to cross a line he shouldn't cross so they can find out if he is a cop.

Hope this isn't too OT. I do think the info can be helpful as we discuss MC and ideas/theories about his role in all this.

P.S. I think the term "going all the way" is sweet of you.:blushing:

I'm 57 and that was the terminology I learned. I don't even pretend to know all the terms now -- I just keep listening to my clients and trying to ask the questions that will help me learn, while attempting to appear not too antiquated.:innocent:
