We know of the computer at his moms and the memory stick, but what about the CD-R? Are they saying nothing was found on it????

IIRC from early reports, BD first said the ms was SA's. That he brought it into the house. See if I can find the link............

I am bothered and confused about Clint. I wonder if he knew this was coming out when he changed his mind about SA and now thinks he is innocent. SA was on his radar from the get go per Clint in interviews. He needs to take a stand against this. I pray he isnt involved in this stuff too.

I totally agree.

At first (even before her statements of no cp found on memory-stick) I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe the media had the report wrong on where the cp was found. We all know they love to sensationalize any story that will bring ratings and viewers, they have been wrong before. However the fact that grand juries in both counties are looking into this tells you that something WAS found in THEIR house as well.

It would appear that Billie told the truth about the memory stick. GJs convene monthly anyway. The fact that they are meeting later this month does not necessarily mean they will even consider this case at that time.

So why would the GJs in both counties be involved? Hypothetically, if the CP images found on the computer at CWs house were taken at BD's house there would be a crime committed in each county. As was mentioned in another thread, they may have taken the poster from the bedroom wall for this reason (although photos of it in place would seem a more valuable evidentiary tool).

Schools do allow kids without computers at home to go to the computer lab during school to work on whatever projects they may need to do. HD also went to the library to use the computer so she could have done any school projects there as well. I do believe that there was some type of internet available in that house for SA to have had his laptop there, but that's just my thinking on it.

WHAT laptop? I have seen a lot of references on WS to this, yet no mention was made in the warrants, and it was not taken... if they took the phones and the XBOX, why would they NOT take Shawn's PC? And if he had a laptop, why was he (assuming it was him) store the illegal material on his mom's PC where it might be discovered? I could be wrong, but I don't think he had a laptop at Billie's. If I am wrong, I apologize, but if it is true, can someone provide a link?

I haven't been able to find any evidence of a laptop either. I have seen people reference it, but I cannot find any sources for the reference.
If he did have one, I still think he might have kept his hobby on the 'family' laptop though.
If it WAS on his private laptop he would be in jail already. Since it is on a family computer that many had access to, maybe NOBODY will be charged.

No matter if there is or isn't CP on 'this' particular memory stick, Billie still has a major credibility problem, imo. I gave her benefit of the doubt in the beginning, but then I watched things unfold. She swore that Shawn was an awesome guy and there was no reason for Hailey to be afraid of him. Then I hear the 911 calls, and she says, IN BILLIES OWN WORDS, that he threatened to kill her and Clint.
She also said they have been 'dating' for 2 and a half years, when the truth is they have been together for 3 years, and he pretty much moved in immediately. She tried to cover that part up too.

So it is not surprising that someone might doubt her at this time. imo

I remember reading that child pornography was found on BOTH the computer and mem stick when this story first broke in the news.

I will need to check to see if LE had an update on their findings as to whether it was also on the memory stick.

I hope this helps clarify some of the confusion.

The computer taken from Shawn's mother's house....was it in fact purchased by her for her other family members use?

Or was this computer purchased by Shawn and was at BD's house before she asked him to move out once the affidavits for the search warrants came out?

The CD found, there has been nothing released regarding same.

CP was on the memory stick. I don't believe Sheriff Toombs would like about something like that period.

The things that make you go hummmmmmmm in this case.

The computer taken from the mothers house was a Dell Inspirion 530, which is a desktop, not a laptop. The laptop is a different computer and would have been taken from BD's house when it was searched.
