I would be guided by the evidence which shows me her activities showed purpose and planning in spite of everything, preparing clothes and showering, nothing had changed in her life between Mary's call and Nina's text, and her dropped towel and missing sanitary protection is more indicative of a shocking intrusion at the entrance to the room than a change in mood.

For the poster above to be correct, the drastic slip from "helping" to suicide would have had to happen prior to NR's text, prior to JS's call, prior him leaving the "devastating message" and prior to anyone having retrieved the same. Hmmm... Doesn't quite work.

Was there a tampon found at the scene? Link please

Wow. Hilarious suggestion -- the point of removing the tampon would have been? And, as you say Brit, it was found where?????

The paint would squeeze out in a clump, there would be way more paint on her in that case.

And VERY likely a mess on the floor...:winkkiss:

She gathered what she needed and removed the tampon when she removed her clothes, preparing herself for this dramatic suicide.

I asked earlier but didn’t get a reply. She had an IUD, right? Unless it was Paraguard, I’m surprised she had a heavy enough period for a tampon and to have blood in that area. Most hormonal IUDs significantly cut back on periods and many don’t have periods at all. That leads me to wonder if the handle of the knife or something else could have been used on her and caused her to bleed.

I agree. I can’t imagine someone in a suicidal state of mind worrying about removing a tampon before carrying out their suicide. “It’s time to die, right after I remove this tampon” sounds a bit out of place to me.

I don't know if Keith Greer or Mary checks in here but if they do I would like them to know that they have done an exceptional job, the case is looking solid, and they have a lot of support here at WS.

May it go exactly as you plan!

They may not be here checking, but I’m sure the defense team have people who do!

From ME AR:
“The relatively well-preserved bare footprints on the balcony and the lack of signs of a struggle or other footprints on the balcony indicate that she went over the balcony on her own. “

Caitlin Rother re forensic footprint technician who gave evidence at the trial re footprints.

She states that the testimony of specialists at the scene started contradicting some of the evidence found by the department and contradicting each other. Testimony in conflict with each other. The one who made the documents of everything & was the specialist in the footprints.
Others have said there are heel prints outside the door and close to the railing. They are right outside the door. The forensic footprint specialist who documents everything gets on the stand and says:

“I did not see any heel prints.”

So the ME would have based his findings on what he was told by detectives at the scene. Would the ME not talk to the forensic technician who is a specialist in footprints???

Was blood found in the kitchen where she got the knives? No
Was blood found in the garage? No
Was blood found in her painting room where she got supplies? No

But hey, maybe her legs were already bound together to make blood dripping more difficult and she hopped to all these locations!😜

Very good points.

But there is not one speck of trace evidence or one fingerprint of AS on the scene. Can you show me one other case, active or inactive, where a+killer was able to remove all trace evidence and fingerprints of just himself and leave the victim’s dna and fingerprints undisturbed.

Just one case!

But does forensic evidence really matter as much as we believe? New research suggests no, arguing that we have overrated the role that it plays in the arrest and prosecution of American criminals.

A study, reviewing 400 murder cases in five jurisdictions, found that the presence of forensic evidence had very little impact on whether an arrest would be made, charges would be filed, or a conviction would be handed down in court.

A mere 13.5 percent of the murder cases reviewed actually had physical evidence that linked the suspect to the crime scene or victim. The conviction rate in those cases was only slightly higher than the rate among all other cases in the sample. And for the most part, the hard, scientific evidence celebrated by crime dramas simply did not surface. According to the research, investigators found some kind of biological evidence 38 percent of the time, latent fingerprints 28 percent of the time, and DNA in just 4.5 percent of homicides.

Using a brush results in brushstrokes. There is nothing particularly painterly about them in this case.

I disagree. The brush stokes in letters show someone who paints in the style that Rebecca did. IMO.

I bet he's not :D

The jury will know it was someone intimately involved with and affected by Max's situation and Jonah was at the hospital.

I agree with you. Rebecca was intimately involved with and affected by Max’s situation.

Maybe I missed something. Was there evidence of Rebecca’s painting style? If so links please. TIA

Agree, Lezah! Hope Greer brings it home tomorrow, putting this all together, most particularly the many major discrepancies between Adam's polygraph, 911 call, what he reported to police that morning (per probable cause and investigative report in the AR), his deposition and his testimony. And, adding additionally the rigor and lividity issues.

Thank you, Lezah, for your dedication, hard work, brilliant thinking, and "court reporting." You are a treasure. <3

Wow, that’s very gracious of you, Thank you. I have a very good example to follow in so many of you guys here!

Wow again when you read down that list of just some of the feedback ( which I summarized from many posters here)

...and it doesn’t include the paint aspect and the fact a three foot tall table ( with three legs...) was apparently required to cut down a body suspended 20 inches off the ground....

...just my opinion

Do we have samples of her paintings or brush strokes? Specifically samples of her painting letters in paint?

Have you seen Rebecca’s paintings personally? You have made a statement about her style matching the brush strokes on the door as if it is a fact. Putting IMO after it doesn’t absolve you of providing links to back up your statement. TIA

It’s possible to draw different conclusions depending on what we focus on, what experts we believe. There is no video of what happening to RZ. So “objectivity” is in the eye of the beholder.

The jury has been given two very good presentations of what happened from both points of view. Even their decision will not “prove”anything...because if we picked 12 WS people from here today...and 12 different tomorrow...we could get two different WS “verdicts.”

But what they say will be a resolution and hopefully will give some relief to either the Z family or the S family.

Then, we will see if it’s really “over.”

BBM. Based on the support for murder postings on here, I don't think you want to take that bet. Based on the postings ratio over time, I think your verdict would come in probably 11 to 1 on murder if not unanimous. We only need 9. Just sayin'.

Greer did a news segment (nothing unusual about that) that showed some of her paintings.
