The time of death was estimated based on the fact she was already in rigor by 7 am. They left her body down there for so long I think that is about the only thing they could have used to estimate the time of death. Rigor takes 3-4 hours to develop so they estimated it before 3 am. So I don't believe she could have died as late as 5 am (not enough time to develop rigor) but before 3 am I believe it's wide open. I think she could have died quite a bit earlier than 3 am.

Oh, that's right, the rigor wouldn't fit. I didn't know they said before 3 am. I think the window then is probably more like 10/11 pm-3 am. Too bad they didn't try to estimate TOD right after she was found around 7 am, huh?

When she was laying there I was concerned about that. They did say before 3 am during the press conference so that period after she talked to her sister is wide open in my opinion. Somebody did check her voicemail at 12:50 am but how can we be sure it was her? She didn't respond to NR's text message, and didn't respond to supposed call from JS. I would think while she might have not wanted to respond to NR's message, why didn't she pick up the phone when JS called?

Just an FYI, I had a friend who bought a new phone this summer. When she sent a text 2 out of 3 times it would send a double text. I don't know if she received double texts too, but it might explain the several instances of two-texts-in-minute to the same person from RZ.

Also, let's keep in mind that Rebecca was exposed to the heat from the sun unclothed for majority of the day. I wonder how the heat would effect rigor....

I would think that there is absolutely no other reason for her not to answer her BF/almost fiance's call when he was supposed to be at the bedside of his critically ill son, but that she was in some way unable to...JMO.:waitasec:

9:25pm- last time R spoke on the phone
9:30pm- the time that Nina "claims" she sent text
9:53pm- last time R sends outgoing text
10:00pm- the time a witness sees an UNidentified female outside the Shacknai home
10:41pm- the time stamp according to AT&T records that Nina text Rebecca requesting the late night face to face meeting with her to discuss Max's "accident"
11:30pm- witness hears a scream coming from the area of the mansion.

Nina sure did find herself all up in the last moments of Rebecca's life.. Coincidence?? IMO quite likely NOT!

Yep. I am so lucky to have a recording of a phone conversation between my mom and me. Her answering machine had picked up, and she didn't go turn it off, so it recorded it all. My dad gave me the tape; I transferred it to a digital file mp3; and I put it in my iTunes playlist so it just pops up randomly now in the middle of my favorite music. It makes me smile every time. She's been gone 9 years.

My mother still has the answering machine that my father had recorded the greeting onto. It is the only thing she has with his voice on it.

WOW!!! RED FLAG.... On July 11 JS is texting like mad with RZ untill 2AM 7AM...sleeping I presume.... all day on the 12th..up untill 8:43PM.. THEN NOTHING!!!!! WHY WHY WHY?

The previous night they texted until 2AM... !!!

WHY... because he went back to the mansion to speak with her in person... and accidentally killed her? BECAUSE HE KNEW SHE WAS DEAD!!!! He didn't even text her.. for a good morning how are ya honey!!!! NADDA NOTHING!!!

I thought the blocked calls were to 911...?? I thought the blocked call on 10th in the morning was the ond to 911 about Max... and then I was not sure why there
were calls to a blocked number before that?

ALSO I believe there was a DATA Transfer at 10:49 PM on July 12. I am assuming that would have been some kind of web surfing!! The rest of the records from her phone should tell exactly what was surfed on the internet via her phone.

JS looks guiltier and guiltier to me. His last text is 8:43PM.... the NOTHING there is NO RECORD of his CALL that leaves a voice mail..... he is setting things up.. his communication with RZ suddenly changes drastically.... and there is no record of his call.. there is a voice mail check..the last thing done on her phone who does it???? him.. to make sure there are no incriminating messges on her voice mail... are there ANY voice mails left at all? He mentions that he left a voice mail to FILL IN for the no contact after 8:43... and to explain a call he KNOWS was made to voice mail on her phone...!!!

goodness.. this is very upsetting...

To me, it's more what JS is NOT doing - than what he is doing. His absence of action on every count is so telling. I was on the fence on suicide vs. murder until the unraveling of JS actions over time. Why not simply clear things up if all is on the up and up? He looks guilty as he!! with no actions.
