what happened to it? it disappeared after the latest update/maintenance shutdown the other day

now there's ads where it used to be on the right-hand side of screen

Not sure where it went. I use to use that feature extensively and was crushed when it went away a couple of times. Someone turned me onto the "new posts" button and now I only use that. I think it is even better than the recent/new thread list.

I also miss the sidebar on the right and now use the "new post" button above. Same happened in Oct.? 2018

I miss that feature a lot. Makes navigating the site SO much easier. Please, bring it back.

This is really curious: it’s missing on my iPad Pro but on my old old iPad Air, I can still see it. I really miss this feature as I have a habit of using it to navigate the entire site. I miss seeing the new cases listed and I really miss seeing which of the threads others are posting on to join in an “active” thread. Please bring it back! Thank you!

I'm late to the party, but chiming in to say I miss it too. It was an easy way to tell with a simple glance at the sidebar what was new and trending, without having to go to another page entirely. Please bring it back? @Tricia ? Pretty please?
