Red Heart.

I'm sure this woman was under a lot of duress, I mean come on now, put yourself in her situation. Some posters here, IMO have no heart, let alone a red one. According to my boy last night, I gave him Tylenol, but I couldn't remember when I gave it to him, last night or was it the day before. I'm glad he remembered he had taken it.

Sure, if it were just this one thing (or even a few things), I can see it. But both Patsy and John have given so many conflicting statements. That's the problem I have.

yes-in refocusing on this crime, JMK is irrelevant..he adds nothing-nor does he detract-we are working with all the info that was there before him-not since him.

Exactly. Maybe something good has come from this nutball. Since he came forward, the case is once again being talked about, and just maybe someone will say or do something which will help resolve this case. Anything is possible.

Karr is mental. I hope they are able to keep him off the streets for at least a bit, and once he's back out...I hope they keep track of his sick #$$. I can see him doing something really nasty just to be in the spotlight. Captain High Pants (I think Glenn Beck was calling him this) is going to be in the news again...onc of these days and I don't think it's going to be a false alarm...no matter how much Patience and "that other one" think he's just a misunderstood guy. :(

Michelle, the heart came up in several interviews.

On the first day, here's what Patsy said:

DEMUTH: How do you know it was a heart on her hand?

PATSY: Because it was on there in the morning, that's why.

DEMUTH: What was your reaction?

PATSY: It was a pretty good little heart...pretty well drawn.

THE NEXT DAY...

PATSY: I'm having trouble distinguishing whether I actually saw it or not.

Uh-huh.
Oh Crap, Dave! Just when I think that I've jumped off the fence and back into the IDI pasture you ram me with your mean old horns and knock me back over the fence........ I'm hopeless...........and you're not helping me improve even one tiny bit with confusing evidence such as this! :banghead:

In the morning? Of the 26th? When she supposedly didn't see JonBenet from 10:30 pm or so on the 25th, until 1:05 pm in the afternoon on the 26th when JR brought her body up from the basement???????

Was that a slip?

That phrase "pretty good heart" reminds me of something I saw last week on one of those news documentaries about the Jonbenet case. I think it was on MSNBC, but it could have been CNN.

Patsy was holding up a painting that Jonbenet had done, and she said she thought it was "pretty good for a six year old."

I'm thinking that is just the way Patsy talked about her artwork. Actually, I thought the painting looked advanced for a six year old.

At any rate, under stress the phrase "this morning" could have meant two days before, for all we know.

14 TRIP DeMUTH: When you say the next

15 morning, did you remember it from the previous

16 evening?

17 PATSY RAMSEY: (Shaking head.) (No

18 response.)

I know lots of kids who draw things on them, but this heart has to mean something more. That is just my gut feeling. I dont think JBR put it on herself. IMO.

I was quite taken a back when i saw JBRs paintings, especially since i remember seeing a few pictures she had drawn in school which were definetly her age group ie. pretty simple. Then you see this painting of a carousel which was amazing for a 6 year old...i think patsy helped her and hence said "pretty good for a six year old."....when she meant herself

Yep, the carousel painting was "pretty good" for a 6 year old and if JBR did it, then she definitely had talent!

This fact of Patsy saying the carousel was "pretty good" and the red heart was "pretty good" reminds me of what the linguistic expert, Don Foster, pointed out about the ransom note (and people in general), "we are a prisoner of our language".

My job is not to confuse, but to help! Guess I'm not doing a good job.

Might be. Don't know.

THanks Super Dave, do you remember which transcripts this comes from, I'd like to read it in it's entireity. I can't believe (well, I do believe it but it is shocking) that Patsy's words would be "It was a pretty good little heart....pretty well drawn" :waitasec: Somehow I don't think that would be my reaction in such a situation unless I thought JonBenet herself had drawn it and quite frankly, to get a heart to be equal on both sides is a hard task for a 6 year old.

Since Tricia posted a transcript where PR said she was on Zoloft (just since the murder?) a few days ago, which I'd never heard before and maybe most of us never heard, maybe that explains a lot of her answers. I read that there can be extreme side effects, even to suicide and homicide, in some people. It's one of a list of antidepressants that can be dangerous. Probably could have at least slightly affected her answers, and she may have been so depressed, whether guilty of involvement or not, as not to much care, just referring most everything to JR. I'm not making excuses for anyone but there's just that possibility, as at least a partial explanation of situation. That's probably not the whole explanation.
