Redacted means that some information has been deleted or blacked out - sometimes it's as simple as a phone number or address - as for who does it, I'd have to say that is the LE agency who has released the docs. There has been information released in some of these doc dumps that I have wondered why it wasn't redacted because if I understand the FL sunshine law correctly, then LE is allowed to redact personal information (such as phone and address) of parties who are witnessesses as opposed to those charged with crimes. I've tried to put myself in the shoes of some of those who were interviewed only because they knew Casey who have had their addresses or phone numbers or places of employment or other details released and all I can say is that I'm glad I don't live in FL and that I did not know Casey Anthony. What are they and who redacted them?

I'm not sure those pictures would have been included and redacted. Didn't a judge rule they would not be released? That's another one of the exceptions to the release of investigative docs in FL - if a judge rules they should not be released then LE would simply not release them rather than black them out. I'm not positive that's what happened here but I think I remember a ruling on them that would exclude them from being released. The big black pages? I'm going to guess they are the crime scene pics the specialist named in his report. The ones he says he studied.
ETA: I would assume they are graphic, which is why they were redacted.
