Since you submitted the potential match on Dec. 26, I was hoping it couldn't have been verified that quickly and therefore not him, but it looks maybe it was him.

It seems like they need to create a position over there and hire someone to do the job you did, because it's not acceptable for this to happen. Thanks for caring.

The NAMUS rep did confirm it was him. I agree that it's not acceptable. I know Cook County is overwhelmed with bodies which is terribly sad, but it's hard to understand when it's as obvious as this one.

The news reported that Reginald was located in December as was announced by police Jan 3 2024. They say nothing of him being found deceased, only that he was located. I've seen "located" mean located safely, located alive, and located deceased.

I've seen them say the same thing about others who have been found deceased and just say they were "located" with no further info. I don't think the article is saying he was found in December. I think the article about him being missing was written in December but then updated to say he was found when the police announced it on January 3rd. I'm sure they are vague on purpose. They don't exactly look good under these circumstances.
