Myspace will remove sex offenders. There is a reporting link on the bottom of each profile. It says report abuse. I usually click that and add the URL to the sex offenders page on the registry. They usually remove pretty quickly.

Does it say how many times? Usually they only have to register as an SO in their adult years if the juvenile offense was against a child more than 3 years younger than themselves. That's how the law is in Oregon.

I am literally kicking myself now for not saving that information on this guy. In the text, there was mention of 100's of rapes of both females and males when he was around age 16. Some were teens, some were children as young as 9. Some were known to the SO, and some were strangers.

something i've learned personally about SO's. some SO's do stick to one gender and age group. some SO's are pedifiles this we know of course. but the guy that molested my daughter...she was 5....also raped a female that was in her 20s. so while pedifiles might stick to one age group. i don't believe SOs necessarily do.

What a sicko! I'm involved in an on'line organization that reports internet abuse involving children and states are showing an increase in the 18 to 20 something in this form of abuse. This tells me that their must be a flow over from this age agroup to actually commit these deplorable acts against children. There are so many reasons why these perps commit such blatant crimes with no fear of serving time in an institution where fellow inmates would harm you for these types of crimes. Crazy that these pedophiles don't fear the law or incarceration. The fear and the hunt are titalizing to these perps and orgasmic (I'm sorry, but true) when the lure succeeds. A big part is drugs leading to hyper-sexuality which does effect all who use and abuse. Withdrawl until their next score heightens these frustrating sexual feelings. That is why when someone is admitted to rehab. they are given a questionair asking many behavioral questions inclding, "Have you ever had sex with an animal?" Oooo I feel dirty typng this! Next we know the NW is known for its many meth labs as reported by Rolling Stone magizine, highlighting the town of Granite Falls in their article. The other thing that must be remembered is here and in other states is the trafficing of humans especially young girls as Lisa Ling reported. Children are a commodity just as drugs are and bring in big money as there are many ways to use the children for high stakes money. Drugs are a flat rate! So scary, that as we see it takes more than a village! Hillary Clinton was bit nieve as many in the village seem to have alterio motives. :razz::furious:

The thing is: on this profile he has an address. On the other sites, he is listed as: homeless.

Karen, I have also read that meth hightens sexual urges when I've looked into the lure of . I'm an advocate to keep off the internet. Ted Bundy even said in his last interviews that was his beginning...kinda like pot can lead to hard drugs. He said that he would read and watch and it would increase his desire to be satisfied...I'm having a difficult time describing this...but as they are satisfied with one fantasy, they need to move on to another to be satisfied. In Bundy's case, first it was a look at this, then "hard core ", then rape, then murder.

Lord help us, this stuff is so sick.

Dear friends: I did a search for sex offenders in Shelton, WA, which is a neighboring city to McCleary, WA. On one site there were details of the offenses and I can't find it now, but on the below listed offender there were literally 100's of offenses against multiple children, both female and male. This man is now listed as: homeless.

I used to have a blog on this on my profile, but I think I deleted it because I had it intertwined with Michael J. and decided it was in bad taste on my part....but I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to dealing with juvenile sex offenders and the law. I'll make a new blog on this for you guys soon.

In the meantime, know that the consensus with juvenile sex offenders is that THEY are the LEAST LIKELY to reoffend. This is because they are young and "testing" and make bad choices since they are kids. So, generally, they automatically get the "Tier I" rating - just for the mere fact they are juveniles. However, in this case, I think that was ludicrous!!!

Kimster if you look at this progression from into acting out behaviors, (drugs not involved) in a clinical way it is a form of addiction. Say when opiates plateu in a pt. with pain issues the phsyician must bump them up for the pt. to recieve the benefits at keeping pain away. These pt.s are monitered by physicians drug addicts are not! Search dogs, cadaver are in Mc cleary as we type going to all the homes around the Baums!!!!!! More later on the escalating of drugs!

Komo 4 just played a message by Sherriff Scott Richadson stateing they brought human cadaver dogs to go door to door in the Baums neighborhood. Stated they are looking into some possible leads that have come in Fingers crossed!!!!!!

Do juvenile sex offenders reform? Or do their predilections resurface at some later date unknown to LE?

I do know that an offender who was an adolescent when he first offended, went on to commit more rapes, then was locked up, then was released, level III, went on to rape and murder an innocent and beautiful young woman, Dru Sjodin.

Concentric, According to my county's juvenile division, the likeliness of the juveniles they deal with reoffending is about 5%. Remember, however, than this includes kids who offend by "experimenting" with siblings, classmates, etc. And some arrested for having sex with girlfriends. (Parents calling them in).

Seems to me they need to look at all angles...the reasons they offend, frequency, control issues, etc. Its a lot harder to understand with kids. Adults are a different story! They are supposed to have "mature" brains and emotions.
