Registered Sex Offenders In & Around McCleary, WA

Do juvenile sex offenders reform? Or do their predilections resurface at some later date unknown to LE?

I do know that an offender who was an adolescent when he first offended, went on to commit more rapes, then was locked up, then was released, level III, went on to rape and murder an innocent and beautiful young woman, Dru Sjodin.

Kimster is right about that particular report of an adolescent abusing a usually a younger child is small. When you add in the adolescents who offend that display anti social behaviors, like fire starters, and animal abusers, peepinp toms with sexual abuse these teens do go on to offend again into adulthood. There has been no cure for this addiction or as some put it this brain disorder. Behavior modification is used to try and teach the perp ways to deal with his urges. Look how this crime spreads like a disease. This encompasses abuse in home, abused may offend in adulthood (stats from perps incarcerated) and all the outside perps like teachers, clergy, scout leaders ect... Shawn hornbeck has so much healing to do to enter his manhood in a healthy way and thank god his parents are the kind to nuture him back from some disturbing memories.

This guy was caught after he kidnapped a 9 year old girl and her male friend. He asked them to help him find his dog and showed pics of his kids to make it seem legit. He never assaulted the boy, just the girl. He's 60 and listed as transient.
He then tried to assault another girl, who got away, and got him arrested. He admits to other assaults which he wasn't caught for, and is a Tier III.

WHY IS SOCIETY AFRAID TO ADMIT THAT THESE IMPULSES FROM PERPS ARE NOT TREATABLE! Where the hell have these do gooders gone to school that they want to experiment for statistics and are using our children to do so. My god psychiatrist have known this since 1970. These trial studies of therpies that may possibly work on perv perps must stop! I'll give'em a stat they can follow with fact and I hope it is remembered by these clinicians. For every perperated crime on a child by a pedophile there are at least a hundred offensives on other children that they have left their mark on. I that isn't the mark of the beast I don't know what is! Arrrg! I only reference the 70's because that is when I worked psych while going to shool and sure enough a boy from my highschool was admitted for molesting the young kids on the block. I knew he was socially inept in school and felt bad for him and that is what got me interested in these crimes at that time. I was one of those do gooders who thought he could be changed. Psychiatris said 'NO CURE' but society wasn't ready to hear thatin 1972 and remained releaseing them to the public with court ordered psych therapy because they didn't feel it was crime to be incarcerated for. Look how many yrs. later it is! Now internet child crimes. diseaseed brains the lot of them and now they have clubs for these guys to join around the world! Why is it so difficult to house these guys first time offenders and the rest in their own prison? Take it out of my taxes,please....

Hi Not_my_kids, IMO Washington State lost their focus when it comes to SO's.

Here they were the first state in the Union to make registration by address mandatory. Allot of good that did when after all these years they have denegraded their system to now allow SO's to register as transcients.

Totally unbelievable IMO that they have stooped this low, placing the general public at great risk. The system is broken. Someone needs to fix it.

MY GOODNESS, it is just too much with us, this sickness they have which can NOT be stopped. All the remedies they speak of are ineffective. Their minds are still alive. We need to think of the children first. And adamantly with great passion!

When watching the news verses five years ago we are hearing over and over that SO of the highest level are integrating back into our comunties more and ore. Like everything else in life it is increasing year after year. What troubles me is the judicial and penal system want citizens to understand a method to their madness of releasing SO after they have a finished a program??? Personally I think were finding that there aren't enough gate keepers to make sure these guys are following the conditions of their release. More crime than Staff to monitor. Interesting thought my husband commented on. There are various stats concerning cries against children that no matter what the debate is on the aount across the nation it is large and increasing with speed. So many reasons socially and mentally why these crimes are gaining strenght like a hurricane. OK for all us die hard flower children! If you take the population at the Woodstock festival and double it, that is the amount of children a year that fall under cries against children. The visual is pretty stunning frightening! If anyone is feeling frustrated that they can't help a child featured on the boards there are so many children in everyones "back yard" that could use an advocate. You can even work from a computer to help. Think of "Militant Moms on a Computer Crusade" and you'll find yourself emailing congressmen you have never heard of! Just my morning rant. Off to McCleary & on to Aberdeen.
