So how will they get more info in court about Jacob's case? How does that come about? Is the judge allowed to ask him questions about that?

In the DH search warrant affidavit from last fall, it does say on January 8, 1990 the police chief of Paynesville informed the Wetterling case investigators of the attacks in Paynesville and that DH should be considered a suspect.

And that they did not pull a DNA profile from JS's clothing until July, 2012. From May- July 2015 they examined DH's 1990 hair sample, extracted DNA, compared it to the profile on JS's clothing, and found it matched DH.

I guess the point I am trying to make and some others is that is should not have taken this long. A hair sample was taken in 1990. Why a person of interest in 1990 whose DNA or hair sample is on file was not matched in 1994 or 1999 or 2002 or 2005 why 2016?

Other children could of lost their lives in 26 years. just like Jacob Wetterling. It is sloppy Law enforcement work.

The followingis a quote from the July 24(?), 2015, Affidavit of Dennis Kern, a StearnsCounty Sheriff’s Office Investigator, that was submitted as part of theapplication for a search warrant for Danny Heinrich’s house in Annandale:
…
On 01/16/1989, SCSO Deputy Zieglmeier telephoned SCSO Detective Doug Pearce and indicated he had information regarding a possible suspect in the kidnapping and assault of JNS. Deputy Zieglmeier identified the possible suspect as Danny James Heinrich, born 03/21/1963, of Paynesville, MN. Officer Zieglmeier advised Heinrich drove a1987 dark blue Mercury Topaz, 4-door with a light blue interior bearingMinnesota license plate #086CEZ. Deputy Zieglmeier re-contacted DetectivePearce early that afternoon to advise Heinrich was currently in either theNational Guard or Army Reserves and was observed on a regular basis wearing military fatigues.

Based on Your Affiant'sreview of documents and photographs, Danny James Heinrich's physicaldescription in the late 1980's was as follows: white male; born 03/21/1963;5'5"; 160 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. On 01/17/1989, Detective Pearce displayed toINS a photographic lineup consisting of six photographs of males with similarbuilds and characteristics. This photo line-up included a then current photographof Danny James Heinrich. Upon viewing the lineup, JNS indicated the picture ofDanny James Heinrich and a picture of another male somewhat resembled theperson who kidnapped and sexually assaulted him on 01/13/1989.

On 01/17/1989, DetectivePearce confirmed Danny Heinrich was a member of the Willmar National Guard.

On 01/18/1989, DetectivePearce and Detective L Leland observed a 1987 dark blue 4-door Mercury Topazbearing Minnesota license plate #086CEZ at Master Mark Plastics where DannyHeinrich was employed. Detective Pearce and Detective Leland observed theinterior of the car appeared to be gray-colored. There was no luggage rack onthe trunk.

Subsequently,on 10/22/1989, the SCSO received the report of a kidnapping which occurred inSt. Joseph Township, Stearns County, MN. TW and AL, male juveniles whose namesand other identifying information are known to Your Affiant, told SCSO lawenforcement officers at approximately 9:15 pm, they were in the company ofJacob Erwin Wetterling, age 11….

As can be seen in its own affidavit, only THREE DAYS (not one year) after Jared’s kidnapping and sexual assault in January 1989, LE had sufficient information to conclude that DH was Jared’s abductor. At the very least, LE had sufficient information which should have led it to investigate DH further. However, despite the strong information LE had that DH had abducted and assaulted Jared, LE (1) never questioned DH about Jared, (2) never sought a search warrant for DH’s car or home (where DH’s police scanner may have been located), and (3) never investigated DH further about Jared’s abduction until AFTER Jacob was abducted in October 1989. I am usually a strong supporter of LE, but this lapse in their duties was and is inexcusable. I hope that LE - and, for that matter, the MSM - remembers this lapse as the various LE services are basking in the congratulations that are sure to come their way now that Jacob has been found.

Damn it. "What did I do wrong?" Jacob Wetterling

What happened, what was said?

Heinrich says he brought Jacob to his car, handcuffed him, put in front passenger seat. Jacob said "what did I do wrong ?

This is beyond upsetting...I am sick to my stomach for this innocent young soul and his family.
