RED FLAGS All over this one:

Joseph told radio host Elliot Segal during the show, The Washington Post reported. “This may sound sick, but I’ve always wanted to come upon something like that and luckily it was months old, so that was nice.”

I read about this earlier today. The disc jockey said exactly what I would have. DUDE call the police!?!? and it was "nice"? What a very odd individual.

Yea a very odd one for sure.
Who sees that and says, well, I'll call it into the radio station since I had a dream about it, 18 days later?!

Errrr... So... is "Joseph" saying that he found the remains 18 days prior, and that they are still there? That would mean he's been returning to look at the decomposing body if it was 18 days ago AND they were still there. I'm at a loss for words other than Joseph ain't playin' with a full deck.

From your article:

“Dude, call the cops!” Segal told Joseph.

The caller told the show's hosts at the time that the remains were still at the campsite, saying, “18 days ago, yes.” He added that the remains were in Frederick County, Md
