Restraining Order Filed / Denied against CA

  • #21
No restraining order needed, get the 12 yr old off myspace and monitor her email and cell phone use! Change the phone number, get a new email address - it's all pretty easy to do. I would like to see restraining orders and taking up police's time for serious crimes and issues that go beyond just simple stepping up the parental involvement.

I agree, but it seems the girl who is only 12 yrs. old states on her private myspace page she is 15 yrs. old.

She has this> Pray For Caylee ♥ Needs God To GIVE HER 1 WISH.=[. CAYLEE MARIE UR OUT THERE I NO IT]

I think that there should have been more parental supervision from day one, but on the other hand, when it comes to kids being kids, some kids don't want that. I was on my first missing persons search at the age of 12, even though by a week in we all knew that we were looking for a body, not a missing or even injured little girl. Some kids can handle it. Obviously, this little girl couldn't, but some kids can. A lot of times, parents overestimate their kids maturity, maybe that is simply what happened in this case.
Hopefully, Cindy will keep away from this child from now on. I don't think that Cindy should be around children. The whole family is rated R.

Why would Cindy be allegedly texting "I love you" to a 12 yr old girl that she hasn't know for more than a few weeks? Would that be appropriate, I have to wonder?

Sounds more like something Casey would do , but in any event it is very inappropriate. Something is extremely wrong with these people.

Interesting - Grandma has 3 grandchildren that she's not allowed to see. I wonder what that's about.

I still think the gma is to blame for all of this, she allowed the child to get involved...it's possible that the child is texting CA and she's responding...be an adult (grandma) take the kids phone away...there ya go....

I'm just wondering why anyone would blame Dakota's grandmother for this....shouldn't the blame fall on the person exhibiting the inappropriate texting and contact which is allegedly Cindy? Cindy should know better than that. I'm glad the grandmother filed a restraining order if CA was ignoring requests for contact to cease.. The whole thing sounds weird and creepy to me. Something is very wrong with The A's.

Very wrong.

There is inappropriate activity with *both* families here, IMO, and NOTHING I have seen of this situation would require the use of a restraining order. Restraining orders are for serious situations in which a person is in danger. I feel the judge ruled appropriately. If they handed out restraining orders to every person complaining of texts and phone calls the system would be glutted and cops wouldn't take violations seriously.

It is crazy that the Anthony's would solicit contact from a minor in this situation and crazy that the minor's guardians would allow it up until now.

It is my opinion that a 12 YO should not be allowed unsupervised access to the internet and a cell phone, and the impression I got from the news story is that the minor continues to solicit contact. While I'm not a fan of the Anthony's, how is that their fault? Why would the guardians allow a sweet tender hearted girl into the thick of a missing child investigation in the first place? There would be SO many ways to help without having to be in the limelight and in the thick of the Anthony's influence, and anybody with half a brain KNOWS that a child missing without a trace for a month doesn't have good odds, and that FAMILY is ALWAYS the first people under the investigative spotlight. WHY would you allow a vulnerable minor to have any contact with them?

Parent proactively; don't expect the taxpayer funded courts to do it for you.

She also has a whole bunch of pictures on her own myspace of Caylee that I have never seen.

I feel sorry for this little Dakota girl very sad. The case is very frustrating. Too bad this little girl handled it like the family should have. Pretty sad indeed

My feeling is that the child should not have been allowed to get this involved with the case...and that the grandmother/Mom (not sure which she is since the myspace says dakotasmom)...should have changed her phone number etc if the anthonys were still contacting her, but it seems that the kid is initiating the contact...I guess i didin't really explain myself rihgt...yes the anthonys are at fault for responding..but it also seems that the kid is doing a lot of contacting too... so both sides are in the wrong..

I never understood why the email was never monitored by the grandmother of the 12 year old child. Once she realized that this family wasn't so innocent, that whole situation could have been resolved. IMHO the grandmother plantiff is just looking for some press, and maybe a book deal.

100% Agreed!
