retired military remote viewer submits report to LE; investigator following up on it

So....what is the first thing everyone here did when they saw this article? We all went to google maps to see what's there, right? (Okay, maybe not ALL of us...but you get my point). I'm thinking this may be an intentional "leak" by LE so they can then see what TH does with the information. Would it be nice if she would do us all a favor and google to see how far Kyron is to that 10 mile radius? GOTCHA!

Other than that, I don't put much weight on "psychic" stuff. Although, I have thought about how cool it would be to have Patrick Jane (aka The Mentalist) show up at TH's house.

OT - I'd like him to show up at my house. But that's a whole other story. :blushing:

do we know if this landifll is a public landfill or private ??
Looks like it is private. The company is called Waste Management and it has a security fence with only one point of entry at a gate.

Appears to be privately owned, if I read this correctly, by Waste Management. Isn't this the company that deals witht he wasts at Skyline?

Ugh...

Do we know where outside at Skyline the large waste dumpsters were? Are any of them out of clear view (behind a kitchen area or something?)?

Is it possible Kyron was drugged or poisoned and then put in the dumpster right there at Skyline?

I don't put any credence at all into Ed Dames' "information." I don't think a piece of private property 10 miles south of the school is any more likely to be Kyron's location than any other spot in the Portland area.
Ed Dames also remotely viewed the "location" of non-existent WMD in Iraq and predicted that in 2007 a solar flare would kill up to 2/3 of the world's population (He sells an alarmist DVD about it, called "The Killshot"). He is known to insert himself and his "remote viewing" into situations, probably to sell his DVD's and courses.

Makes me wonder who tipped off the media about this??? And, since there are many quotes from him, I don't think it was LE. :)

oh geez. :waitasec:
emma erects a mini fence to sit on today:

this is an amazing psychic miracle about to happen
lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllHlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll (<------this is a fence *yup, hurts to sit on it*)
this is an intentional leak of misleading information intended to strike fear & action on the part of a suspect

IMO, if the SO has this information and believes it to be worth investigating, they have asked permission and are already searching said private property ... and if denied permission, they are obtaining warrants while observing the site.

I would hope if LE was presenting me with a search warrant, they would have more probable cause than the visions of (an unusual person).

Wow, I wish we had her pings, darn it. I'd love to see how this matches up. I know a lot of people don't put much stock in remote viewing and ESP and all of that, but as far as it all goes, he sounds pretty credible if you actually read about him. Hopefully something comes of it, and checking into it can't hurt. Thanks to all those that have posted maps, those are helpful. I'm looking at the street view on one of them now, and talk about a million and one places to hide a little boy :(

BBM

My husband is a big fan of Coast to Coast, a talk radio show that has featured Ed Dames many times.

My husband says that Ed Dames has yet to make a correct prediction on the show. For one example, he claimed that Chandra Levy's body woud be found submerged in water.

He was completely wrong.

A few years back, Ed Dames predicted that the earth would be engulfed in a solar flare within three months that would, best case scenario, knock out all electronic equipment.

Again, he was completely wrong.

What could the harm be in following up any leads he comes up with? A waste of time, energy and effort. Plus the emotional wear and tear on the family being approached by people making these sorts of predictions.

Because LE is taking this matter of 10 miles south as something to look into, I wanted to post this, Mods, if this is not okay, please remove this post.

Interestingly, there is an RSO listed in Aloha, OR and, when I googled the address from the school, it is 10.5 miles almost directly south from there. I will not post a link to the RSO but the information is public on the Oregon State Sex Offender site.

I would imagine if he pinned it down to within 60 feet...it would not take a great deal to see if this guy is crazy or not. That is pretty specific.

Wondering if he waited until he also had the info about cell phone pings, bank transactions, etc. before he was able to "find" Kyron.

There are homelss folks in that area?

yes..

Off topic kinda not really, just to show you there are ALWAYS hidden places, that may be there right in front of you...

I took pictures of a meth house, which is about 8 miles south of the school (right on Cornelius Pass Rd), the house was hidden by trees but so close to the road you could hear the cars.
It is wooded around the area and in the woods beside it there were several homeless camps..

I'll put my link of pictures if anyone is interested and will link to show you how the homeless live in the middle of a suburban/industrial neighborhood..
(near the bottom of the page are pictures of the "camps")

sbm

Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, works at Intel's main administrative facility in Oregon, the Jones Farm campus in Hillsboro, the company said.

And:

Finster has known Horman since they went to junior high in Roseburg and worked together in the Hillsboro School District, where Finster is a special ed teacher.

Interesting.

Well, I guess it is possible that his information corroborates tips given to police - or vice versa.

Me too. I lost an amethyst earring and can't find it anywhere. Heck, since he views things "remotely," I guess he could just tell me where it is over the phone! :innocent:

Also, the Hormans lived about 9 miles south, in Aloha, before they moved to the current house. It is possible Terri knows of a place near their old home that would be a good dumping spot. The old house is not too far from the Albertsons and Fred Meyer LE were looking at as well, IIRC.

... Within a 60 foot radius, however. *For entertainment purposes only.*
