retired military remote viewer submits report to LE; investigator following up on it

  • #101
Here, let me take another tack.

Daisy, ahem, I think you're onto something, and I bet we can all "sleuth" who leaked that to LE. Someone who's hungry for publicity and benefits from it.

And here's what LE had to say, according to the article and the first post:
"A spokeswoman with the sheriff's office said an investigator is examining leads from the report and following up on anything it generates. "

That sounds like standard gov. response. I've been a government spokesperson, and I know it when I hear it. What else could they say, with a publicity-hungry guy inserting himself into things. "No, we're ignoring that totally."

They're not going to waste time getting into a pissing match. Instead, they make the statement.

In reality, what the statement may mean is this: "Yea, right, anyone in the room got a lead from this load of crap? Well, if ya do, let's run right out and follow up on it." (laughter) That's written from knowing cops, being out with them on cases, etc.

However, if they actually mount a search there, then I'll tsk-tsk myself for being too cynical. However, please note: even when I'm contrarian, my dogs agree with everything I say.

As weird as everything else in this case is, I wouldn't be totally shocked if Kyron were found by a psychic.

Also, the Hormans lived about 9 miles south, in Aloha, before they moved to the current house. It is possible Terri knows of a place near their old home that would be a good dumping spot. The old house is not too far from the Albertsons and Fred Meyer LE were looking at as well, IIRC.

I imagine then Kaine would know of these spots, as well.

I would hope if LE was presenting me with a search warrant, they would have more probable cause than the visions of (an unusual person).

Hmmmm...good point, and now you have me wondering if just pings and receipts and other "she was in the area" proofs from LE's favorite "not-yet-poi" would be enough probable cause.

Not to mention - would you refuse to permit LE to search of your property for missing child...? I can see refusing to permit a random citizen search. But an LE search?

Perhaps it's not outside field type property, but it's a barn or equipment area or orchards or something...:waitasec:

... Within a 60 foot radius, however. *For entertainment purposes only.*

Well......for Pete's sake! GPS could do better than that!

I've always wondered about that!!
I did see some WM green cans out by the side of the road up there by the homes by Skyline one Friday..

I thought someone posted it was another area the trash was taken to?

I was thinking so too, but am not certain. I wonder how one wwoul dfind out which landfill the waste from the school was taken too. Would it be the closest? I'm not sure.

Waste Management serves Skyline Elementary, per here... http://www.oregongreenschools.org/schools-metro.cfm

:-(

Thanks Hollye! ....But now that I think more about it...

Surely, the dumpsters at Skyline would have been among the first places LE searched that first day...and if the dumpsters were emptied during the day that day before it was discovered he was missing, surely LE would have tracked down that shipment....

I feel better, I would hate to think he was thrown away in trash like that.

They would have found him right away I think,,,if he had been left in a dumpster there....

I would imagine if he pinned it down to within 60 feet...it would not take a great deal to see if this guy is crazy or not. That is pretty specific.

Wondering if he waited until he also had the info about cell phone pings, bank transactions, etc. before he was able to "find" Kyron.

I was gonna say...

So he takes known facts and comes up with a 'vision', vague as it is.

Then again, this could be a little psyops on the part of LE. Maybe they have info that Terri puts a lot of stock into this kind of stuff. Hoping this will shake her up a little? (then again, if he's completely off base it would no doubt convince her she's getting away with *whatever*)

I did not know they had lived in Aloha. Thanks for that.

ETA Do you know when that was?

I wonder if they sought out permission to search that property, just in case. Anyone know?

I still can't get my thoughts around how Kyron would have left the school. He was quite excited about the science fair and wanted to see all of the other children's exhibits. Did he actually have a Dr appt that very day? If he did leave the school, it would have been something either quick or non-suspicious. How closer is Sauvie Island to the 10 mi south from the school. For what it's worth, when measuring 10 miles (from a "remote" place) - I would think it means "as the bird flies".

BBM

My husband is a big fan of Coast to Coast, a talk radio show that has featured Ed Dames many times.

My husband says that Ed Dames has yet to make a correct prediction on the show. For one example, he claimed that Chandra Levy's body woud be found submerged in water.

He was completely wrong.

A few years back, Ed Dames predicted that the earth would be engulfed in a solar flare within three months that would, best case scenario, knock out all electronic equipment.

Again, he was completely wrong.

What could the harm be in following up any leads he comes up with? A waste of time, energy and effort. Plus the emotional wear and tear on the family being approached by people making these sorts of predictions.

I think it would be interesting if a group of websleuthers learned remote viewing to see if it actually shows a correlation of correctness re missing person's cases. The remote viewers who teach on the internet say anybody can be trained to do it. Frankly I'm curious.

It's disturbing that Ed doesn't mention if he thinks Kyron is still alive.

Re when things come up incorrect in remote viewing: I don't see where it's totally out of the sphere that remote viewers can and do sometimes hit on possibilities, i.e. they might sometimes hit on the collective unconscious of one or many people by mistake. For example, if one person with powerful thoughts/delusions was convinced that Chandra Levy was in water is there anything to keep the remote viewer from picking up on that source rather than the intended source.

So, JMO, but Kyron could actually still be where Ed says, or Kyron could have been there and been moved since the remote viewers viewed it, OR the perpetrator could have strongly considered putting Kyron there and later changed plans, OR somebody with strong visual thoughts could be convinced Kyron is located there and those thoughts are floating out there in the aether and Ed and his team picked up on that.

Although Ed was wrong about the solar event date it's extremely noteworthy that NASA has issued a warning for the exact same event ocurring in 2013. Google NASA solar flares 2013. They flat out say the power grid could go down.

It's also interesting re remote viewing that sometimes most of a viewing team will hit on the same information and be wrong, but one who differs in what they've seen will be correct. The team will go with the larger concensus, but it was one of the 'wrong' viewings that predicted the USS Cole incident (I think it was that one, where our naval ship was attacked in the middle east) just a day or two before it happened.

I hope Ed's viewing team info leads to finding Kyron, alive and well and he's brought home to his mom and dad. That the clarity was there.

A miss won't unconvince me though. Nor will a hit convince me. I'm on the fence but curious and interested.

Also, wouldn't this release of information, if it's even close, force a guilty person to relocate Kyron asap? That's hopeful. Maybe LE is watching them.

I agree - I assumed "as the crow flies" myself when I read that.

And here's a thread you might find interesting:

I would let them search, but remember the folks that didn't? Earlier on there were people that refused. Gosh, when a child is missing don't worry about your pot plants.

Kyron could have been conned out by an older kid saying there was a "cool electric" project outside, then the adult nabbed him.

What does "as the bird flies" or "as the crow flies" mean in terms of mapping? I really don't know.:blushing:

I just means straight, without following the layout of the roads or ground terrain.

http://www.kptv.com/gooddayoregon/24337416/detail.html

Multnomah County deputies confirmed they received the report, which Dames said pinpoints Kyron's location within 60 feet. A spokeswoman with the sheriff's office said an investigator is examining leads from the report and following up on anything it generates.

Anyone else feel a politically correct and entirely casual, non-urgent response by LE here? If the report gave a location within 60 feet of exactness, and LE is following up, then one would think they've been there, done that. I mean, what other leads would such a report generate? :waitasec:

Not that tone always means anything when it comes to LE statements, but this sounds as if it might be old news...as far as LE is concerned.
