I'm surprised that she hasn't had braces for her teeth. She did get breast implants and spent money at salons for the blond hair, so I wonder why she let the buck teeth go untreated. I'm not snarkin'. It seems like it would be an important part of the window dressing for the husband hunt.

I don't think Jodi has a "very high" IQ, she scored 116, which is average. No matter, she thinks she is smarter than everyone. I don't think her sentences structure is that great, & she is too verbose. She just likes throwing those big words around to make herself look smart.

Yes, she sprinkles big words. Most of the time when she uses a largish vocabulary, she's lifting whole phrases from novels or tracts. That's why one moment she sounds like she's come straight from the 19th century, the next like "Gone with the Wind", the next LDS manuals, then gutter slang, then bits of songs, then Bible-ese. She does not have an especially large spoken vocabulary (note her interrogation with Flores). She talks and talks and talks, and any precision she has is at the service of lying and manipulation.

I once had a bunch of ESL students who were savvy test takers, because in their countries rote was rewarded. In no time, they'd figured out they could sprinkle large words into an English exam essay (no, not me correcting it) and would get high marks, even if they were inappropriate in context. They often had no idea what the words meant. One had selected "intoxicated" for sprinkling and was mortified when I told her what it meant, since that was not something young women were supposed to know about in her culture. Lol.

Anyway, Jodi's sprinklings are an affectation: they do not come from somewhere intrinsic to her. They're sort of like an American cultivating a fake British accent and having it not work quite right......

DM: No. Those with BPD are far more likely to harm themselves.

JM: So those with BPD are not typically violent. Does that include murder ? Would you expect someone with BPD to be predisposed to murder?

DM: No. That kind of extreme violence? Murder? It is statistically very rare for BPD's to commit murder.

JM: In those cases you are aware of where BPD's did cause physical harm, or even death, was the violence spontaneous? As in, the BPD's became enraged and acted immediately on the rage?

DM: Yes, in those very rare cases where violence has been inflicted by BPD's, it was inflicted immediately or within a very short time of the perceived "triggering' offense.

JM: How would you explain someone with BPD making detailed plans weeks ahead of time to murder someone? Then driving 1,000 miles to get there, then manuevering her victim over hours into an extremely vulnerable position before stabbing him?

DM: I would say that those actions are incompatible with the diagnosis of BPD. The BPD can help explain why this person might feel a high degree of rage, but not the methodical premeditation and the actual murder you describe.

JM: How would you explain her actions then? Is there another diagnosis that fits?

DM: Only a lay explanation, I'm afraid. She's a lying, manipulative, cruel, vindictive, hateful and cold blooded murderer who knew exactly what she was doing, who has never regretted it, and who, when forced to express remorse, will use those occasions to further vilify her victim.

JM: I don't have anything else.

By that last point I'm guessing Demarte is referring to the layman's term "psychopath." Maybe she'll be allowed to be more explicit this time around.

Yeah. He killed an officer and wounded another in an escape attempt.

WISE WORDS. I totally agree. Yosemite National Park is another great example. Half Dome is AMAZING. No matter how many tourists come to visit, it is still a WONDER of NATURE. And the Golden Gate Bridge in the beautiful city of San Francisco, one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. Come one and come all.

You got that right katydid! I used to live in Novato (where Bobby (or was it Matt) & Jodi went to New Age thingy)... anyway - anytime up that way I always go across the bridge!!

To me, she changes appearance all the time. If I were a casual observer, I wouldn't realize she was the same person from one sighting to the next. No doubt a reflection of her psychopathy. A chameleon in the physical sense, not just in the personality she projects.

Wow--her supporters really are something else. Seriously they think someone else killed TA even tho JA flat out admitted it?

I have to say I'd be scared of these supporters were my neighbors. Wow.
