I have wondered the same things, Tart, but what do you mean by why the Alexanders weren't allowed in chambers? Are you referring to Oct. 30?

I've read here and elsewhere there have been mentions of them meeting in chambers. I know both attorney must be present. Jodi's presence is not required, but when she's in those closed meetings, Travis' Family should be present too, IMO.

I have reviewed the tweets from Oct. 30 and am now convinced that the "secret testimony" was planned ahead of trial. Counsel, family, defendant, and the judge were buzzing like bees in and out of the courtroom almost as soon as they got there.

Wow. I still cannot believe that this happened.

If my memory is correct is this the day the convicted murderers sidekick walked a little old man in and introduced him to Nurmi?

If so this was another distraction, kind of like look over here. JMHO

krkrjx, CMJA was stopped in Utah (?) by LE who noticed her plates were upside down. Ryan was right behind her, IIRC, and saw her get stopped.

Well, unless it's ex parte', IMO.

Can you imagine, mere hours after you committed a brutal murder seeing LE flashing lights in your rear view mirror? You or I would probably have a heart attack. I bet the killer wasn't even fazed.

CMJA's DNA and even her blood mixed with Travis' blood was at the murder scene. If CMJA is both male and female, wouldn't that reflect in her DNA in the chromosomes? Then if it were reflected in her DNA, wouldn't it be a big point in court for the prosecution to state that the DNA recovered at the scene was extremely unusual and that it did belong to CMJA? The prosecution wouldn't have to even state why the DNA was so unusual; just that it was and it did belong to CMJA. (and we do know her DNA was at the scene)

I just do not believe that CMJA is anything other than just a misshapen ugly female! There is also a disease that I cannot remember the name of whereby the female might have very long fingers, big feet, and grow very tall. It is the disease we were thinking the mysterious Lori Ruff in Longview, Texas might have had.

MOO

BBM Marfan Syndrome The Lori Ruff case sure is a mystery.

I too think the upside down license plate could have been an accident. Maybe she switched the plates in the dark and didn't notice she was putting it on upside down? It doesn't make sense for it to be deliberate because as you say, it would be more likely to attract attention.

I do not recall how she discovered the upside down plate...did she happen to see it while sitting in a Starbucks, or was she stopped by a traffic cop at some point? I do not recall anything she claimed about the discovery other than she was in Starbucks and the teenage skateboarding gang armed with screwdrivers came along and messed with her plates. I remember her claim that after they removed it they left it lying on the ground propped up at just the right angle for her to notice it there.

So...does anyone recall if Killer discovered the plates upside down or if someone else mentioned it to her?

Iirc, a cop in Utah pulled her over because her license plate was upside down. She told him that it must have been some of the local kids. It is a part of testimony in first trial. He actually testified in court.

LOL I never even thought of that!!! I bet she about crapped in her Spiderman underwear :giggle:

Regarding the computer, mirror image, discussion...
Juan Martinez told BN he could prove he was lying and that he damaged the hard drive. I do not believe this prosecutor would ever say that unless he knows something. We will find out December 4th and I believe BN will prove to be a fraud.

I agree with your thoughts on the bent hard drive pins. I've replace hard drives before and I've always been extra cautious when removing them from a computer/laptop and especially when re-installing a hard drive. Because of the location of the bent pins (several bent on one side of the connector and a couple bent on the other) it appears that someone tried to force this hard drive into the wrong computer or it was done intentionally. Anyone that replaces a hard drive should know that especially an expert.

1. She feels no guilt or remorse. Where we would have a heart attack and a guilty look, she had a smile.
2. She likely flashed her smile, flipped her hair and charmed the officer. He testified to as much.
3. She is a complete sociopath/psycho.

About the license plate deal, I really wonder if she saw that tactic in a movie or TV show and mimiced it thinking it would somehow help her conceal her trip.

Who knows with that sociopath. She seems to have gotten a lot of her material from movies.

ETA: Yes, maybe this is being unduly swayed by the family. But I see them as victims too and for some reason, Jodi is never going to say she is sorry. You know I have always prayed that Juan would read the letter Jodi wrote to Travis's grandma, the woman who raised him. If jurors didn't sentence her to death after that letter, nothing would make them do so.

MOO...I just want her to go away. But sheesh! Think of the horror Travis went through!

re bold - has this letter ever been released?? If so, anyone here have a link, as I don't believe I've read this!

TIA!!

As far as I know- no- it has never been released... nor do I think it should be. Just my personal opinion. Would I like to see it- you bet I would.

Thanks, I recall it now. The trial was so long ago some details are blurred.

So, she told the Utah officer the story about the teen license plate pranskters...I could not recall who she pleasured with that one. LOL, I'm not sure I could speak such malarkey to LE. He would have easily read me like a book.

But then, I am pretty sure I am not a psychopath--or a narcissist.

Although, I never thought she was really that pretty, when she was seeing him she was well made up, with the blonde hair and did have a nice figure. It's amazing what makeup can do!

Right, she looked quite attractive with her hair and makeup done. But it required several pounds of goop and a lot of effort, IMO. The killer is and never was a natural beauty.

I HATE that Travis' reputation is the whole focal point of Jodi and her defense. How convenient for them as Travis is no longer here to defend himself from all the lies. It's all about trying to save her life! What about Travis' life?? He certainly didn't a chance to save his life....Yet Jodi get's two chances :furious: I.HATE.JODI.ARIAS

This. Especially the last 4 words.
My hate for her is the strongest hate I've ever felt in my life for anyone (never mind someone I don't even know IRL), and while I know it's an unhealthy hate, I can't help it.
I watched the first trial and have been following it here, then and now, and I can't keep myself from imagining what the Alexander family must feel. I want to reach out and offer comfort to them for their loss. I want a time machine to bring back Travis so they can all be together again.
I want that disgusting excuse for a human to have never existed, the amount of pain one "person" has caused to so many people hurts my heart so deeply I can feel it physically.

While intellectually I understand KN and JW are earning a living I don't understand how they can sleep at night. I truly believe I would quit the profession before I would defend slime like her. I don't like to wish ill on anyone, but in their case I hope they carry this forever, I hope they never get a good night's rest for trashing Travis like they are.
The slime-bot herself doesn't merit anything other than hate and Death Row. I don't even believe 100% in the DP, but in this case there is no other outcome that can give the family peace, unless they want LWOP just to try and stop this neverending madness, or at least quiet it down a bit since we all know CMJA will be appealing and appealing and appealing forever.

God Bless Juan Martinez, God Bless the Alexander Family, and most of all, God Bless Travis.

And thank you to all you wonderful posters for your insight and tweets and everything else you all do here, God Bless you all and Happy Thanksgiving!
(back to lurk-mode lol :lurk:)

That's interesting. I might consider it if anyone can come up with how that might conceal rather than scream "Look here!"

Did she think cameras on the road would not register her car passing by if it could not read the plate? Is that possible? And did that scenario ever show in a movie?

I just can't figure something that is likely to ATTRACT the interest of a traffic cop being used as a ploy to conceal. What am I missing?
