You don't have to actually download files. The program itself goes online and basically downloads the update onto your system. So BN saying that Quicktime doesn't install files automatically, is not true. It does. And a couple of years ago, it downloaded even more files without the user wanting to.

He can't say its a virus! As pointed out earlier ActiveX is used for watching regular movies as well!
