The sex phone call tape was for Mimi, Lisa , the cutie Travis met the weekend Jodi wanted him to come up to Yreka on the 24th. Travis told her that he was under a lot of stress because Jodi wouldn't tell him what she had planned. Jodi went looking for a tree in the woods - I think she had Matt M. all lined up and ready to video tape and take photos for more blackmail. Travis stayed at home and had a UFC party at his house, and wrote he met a cute nineteen year old.

In Jodi's journals she writes that Matt M. was in Mesa before she left for the final time? and that he saw bruises around her neck and told her to get a restraining order and she said that she was leaving in two days. Now Jodi said a man saw the bruises and his photo's of them are were on the external hard drive that wasn't part of her trial. Along with photo's of Travis chasing down a naked four year old little boy in a priest collar. She said they were hanging out with friends and she took it because she thought it was funny. Anyway, just how does a restraining order work if you are stalking someone and entering their home?


Matt was in Mesa around the fifteen of April, saw Jodi June third in Salinas? and was in Yreka when Jodi got back after murdering Travis. I wonder what she handed off to him?

Jodi wrote that she hadn't spoken with Matt for three months after she moved to Mesa. He thought she needed to be committed.

Matt was also in Yreka when Jodi got back from her trip. I can't remember what she handed off to him.

I would love to know the part that Matt played in all of this. We know that he was suppose to be the recipient of the coded magazines, but it seems that he was much more involved than that. I believe that Juan knows and that is why he made the threat of perjury towards Matt. I now wonder if Matt knew what JA was going to do all along and did not report it or was it that he was in it to deep?

The defense had both Chris and Sky on their witness list. Chris testified in day nine and day ten in a hearing regarding alleged misconduct. Kirk took that opportunity to bring up the emails so WE DO HAVE sworn testimony explaining those emails.

He explains that Kirk LIED to Sky and convinced her that he had PROOF that the forged pedo letters were verified to be legitimate. On the same day that Kirk lied to Sky, Chris and Sky while discussing it together decided THAT VERY DAY that it was incredible and that they did not believe it, the letters did not seem like Travis' style of writing and the dates made no sense and it was "Inconsistent with Travis' behavior". Even though while Jodi played Pro Per for a couple of days she said she would call them to the stand during the trial, Jen and Kirk KNEW that would not go her way and of course never did. They couldn't risk Sky testifying to ANY variation the judge would allow of examples that they warned Travis his very life was in danger because of how crazy and off the rails Jodi's stalking had become. She told him, "Travis we are afraid we are gonna find you chopped up in her freezer!"

Juan never called them; because, he simply did not need them. The first jury was smart enough to realize that those emails were during a VERY brief four month, long distance relationship and by their questions they realized of course those opinions changed regarding Jodi/Travis' relationship over time. Chris answered "No. I would not."

The judge ruled against #JodiArias who had claimed that it was misconduct on Juan's part that Chris and Sky were watching the trial and reporting to Phillip/Juan when they saw things they knew for certain to be lies. Also Jodi's lawyers had claimed that Chris improperly threatened by implication Gus Searcy not to testify. It turned out that neither Chris nor Sky would ever be deposed by EITHER side and were never intended to be called as witnesses. The fact that the pair of them were on Jodi's witness list, yet never deposed and that they had appeared on the stand in these hearings made it so outrageous that Kirk claimed during this phase it was unfair that Dr. DeMarte interviewed them. He has had nearly seven years to depose them, and NEVER did.

Maria tweeted and grinned throughout the entire two days of testimony. ODD WOMAN.

if this is her testimony, her complete testimony, juan has gotten the transcript into the jury room. if this is her testimony she is cooked. just the comparison alone from her 11/2 day testimony to this jury to her previous testimony is like two different worlds. her previous testimony will have her premeditation brought out by juan, the supposed pedo day in question, the murder itself and thereafter. it will have it all and the jury will have access to it. 18 days on the stand open to their eyes and minds, direct and redirect. i wonder if the other juries questions will be a part of that? does anyone know? i couldnt have dreamed they would get her transcript of testimony, this would be one of those to good to be true things. am i reading to much into this, does someone else know if they got her testimony?

Chris Hughes said Travis earned $100,000 the year before meeting JA, but was in serious financial difficulty his last year. TA only finding out in April that he'd "qualified" for the June Cancun trip suggests to me he wasn't in top form that year. His new blog had a "lessons learned" vibe imo, optimistic but committed to making some major changes.

It's very common and a very common name to people who craft things. In no way is it a nouveau item found exclusively at fancy food places. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raffia_palm It is a fine addition to any gifts/craft/decorating item and found very commonly at craft supply stores and even grocery shops. Any gifting supply company would carry this commodity. Michaels, Joanns, Target, just about any store in my experience sells raffia by the bulk. IMO . He could have gone to Kmart or Walmart and found all the crafting items needed to make a nice little get well basket.

Your take is similar to Dr. Dale Archer (psychiatrist) who blogs at Psychology Today. He's written several excellent pieces there about whether JA fits this or that category of mental illness, but in the end believes she's just an ordinary evil murderess of the "fatal attraction" variety. Travis was struggling on several fronts, including financially, from January 2008 through at least mid-May. Friends were really concerned about him.

His journal (March through May 2008) really speaks to his atypical lack of productivity. In it he says pretty frequently that he's putting most of his time and energy into his blog. He saw potential in it as an " income stream, " and it was helping him organize his thoughts about his autobiography.

My fear is that the endless delays, long interruptions, and mind-numbing hours of useless and repetitive testimony over false-memes (TA the sexual deviant-playa-pedophile/plane loads of , etc.) have prevented this jury from getting the actual facts or a clear picture of the relationship and JA's maniacal obsessiveness.
