I am not pro death. Nor am I against it. I believe in some cases it is warranted but not in others. To me, that's being middle of the road.

I am for the death penalty but not for everyone. Some cases warrant it and some don't. Being pro DP doesn't mean you think everyone should get it. I'd say you're pro death but only when it's warranted. JMO.

Some state s allow direct voir dire some require Qs thru judge. Nurmi a little light given his chance here to talk to jurors.

The reason Arias gave her cell mate for the murder being good riddance was that Travis was a pedophile. Interesting that she has also spoken of one day basking in playtime, watching her children and his children. Before she killed him, of course. That does not fit with T.A. as a dangerous pedophile.

Early days of incarceration, I surmise Arias read that pedophiles were despised by the public, considered less than dirt. Ever after, that was her standing accusation.

Maybe the middle of the road guy is pro death but only when it's warranted too, just did not know how to phrase it.

I liken this to being pro choice (the right to decide either way) not equating either pro or anti abortion.

You're probably right about that. I was also going to make a comparison between abortion. I think those are things you have a stance on even if there are provisions or requirements you feel must be met.
