Thank you! A bit repetitious but for those who are not able to watch it here are some of the things he said:

1. JA came in feeling high but as time went by she appeared to be more sober.
2. Jeff thinks that the motion filed by JA might (it's only a GUESS based on the fact that another Judge will address it) concern Judge Stephens. JA might have some issues with the Judge.
3. Jeff says he's an observer and this is why he mentioned seeing her neck and face. He says after months of looking at the her back and hair he got to see more of Arias. Again, he's just observing.
4. Jeff says JA is a master manipulator.
5. He thinks jurors are grouped by objections (DV victims in one group etc.)
6. He doesn't know much about the NZ witness. Juan is supposed to go to California to interview a witness. He's not sure if it's the same one.
7. The parties will, over the weekend, study the profiles of the jurors to see which ones they like best, which ones they do not want at any cost etc.
8. He says the odds that JA will get the death penalty are slim. He believes the Judge will give Arias LWOP. Says parole doesn't exist in Arizona. What does exist is more akin to clemency. Clemency is an executive function (concerns the prosecutor, governor etc.) rather than a Judicial function so it's similar to Parole in this regard. However, Clemency involves a much higher standard. No way will Arias ever get it. Don't fret says Jeff!
8. Motion to dismiss DP will not be granted. He thinks the Defense lawyers are great and doing whatever they can to help Arias. They should have gone with the mental defect defense but JA would never have agreed to it.
9. He's not sure about DV survivors being on the jury. On the one hand, they may identify with Arias. On the other hand, real victims might see through Arias and the games she's playing.
10. He says some of Travis' texts were abusive. He knew how to pull Arias' chains. This gave ALV something to talk about.

Wow, rose222, the thanks button is not enough. Great summary!

Lets go with #10 for a moment. Let's say he called her a who---. I bet she encouraged it! When he called her a three hole wonder...I bet she laughed about it. (I, on the other hand, would have walked fast and hard away from anyone who said this but that is me.). Maybe he got sick of the sex and told her that is all she or he were to one another. All good reasons to walk away. But she wanted control. The man, his lifestyle, his friends, all of it. What I am saying is I would never, ever hunt down someone and kill them! And don't forget she planned it. She slaughtered him because he made her feel bad about herself? She participated in those demeaning things! Ugh. Jeff please, you are such a guy...not thinking with your brain.
as for ALV, she is a wolf is sleeps clothing.

Remember those "abusive" texts came in with the same batch where he also said, "I sent you a response to your dire conversation that I hope you read, because you need to read it. Maybe it will spark human emotion in you, something that only seems to exist when it comes to your own problems, but everyone else is just a part of your sick agenda. I have never in my life been hurt so bad by someone, but why do I even say it because you don't care? It doesn't serve your evilness. I don't want your apology. I want you to understand what I think of you. I want you to understand how evil I think you are. You are the worst thing that ever happened to me. You are a sociopath. You only cry for yourself. You have never cared about me, and you betrayed me less than any example I can conjure. You are sick and you have scammed me."

He was really, really angry with her over something she had done. Whatever it was, it didn't have the effect on Travis that she wanted it to have, and then she killed him.

I'm glad you brought this up, dd. I have always thought it very wrong for a judge to allow any jury to only view snippets of written conversations. If it's relevant, then show it in its entirety. If it's prejudicial to one side or the other, so be it. Isn't the point of a trial to find the truth of the matter?

I cannot believe that this was considered abusive. Come to my house if you want to hear real abusive statements. Of course, we all know the texts were taken out of context. I HATE Jodi Arias.

Snippets from KTAR:

Legally Speaking: Fourth day of Arias trial slow yet emotional

Day four of jury selection in State v. Jodi Arias was what some would call "slow" yet the comments and stories that came out were emotional, moving and enlightening.

The potential jurors that were brought back to the courtroom today for small group questioning were diverse in terms of age, race and life experiences. They were mothers, fathers, grandparents, married, lesbian, male, female, Hispanic, white, black, old, older, young, really young, nurses, hunters and law enforcement.

As many of you have already said Travis was NOT verbally abusive to Arias. Those angry words were in response to being stalked. I think most of us would have taken better, perhaps even legal steps to deal with a stalker. Unfortunately, Travis was too naïve. He was caught in a pattern where Arias engaged in stalking behaviour, Travis vented via text or email, Arias apologized (manipulation), Travis forgave her and felt bad for 'overreacting' and being 'impatient' and all was well until crazy Arias struck again. He didn't realize that the axe-murderer he wrote about on his blog was right there in front of him. He was too trusting of people. Imagine how naïve he must have been to allow Arias to corner him in the shower? And think about how cunning she was to know that Travis would not kick her out of the house on that fateful day considering what had happened in the early weeks of May? If I had been in his place I would have kicked her out. Or called the cops. Or something. He was much too nice to her. That was his downfall.

RBBM: This juror needs to goooooooooo !

And I still do not understand WHY and HOW she made it this far knowing CMJA/family !

I wondered about this juror.....a good question or questions to ask again. How do you know the defendant?how do you know the family? how long? But this needs to be asked....has the defendant or any family member, friend or attornies contacted you or tried to contact you in any way, shape or form?

I would think someone from the defendants side would try to contact this person....since they 'know' each other. It would appear is was a friendship meeting....but really not, some people are real sneaky. JMO

Would these questions be allowed?

Thank you for this post... and the BBM is about the saddest part of all. God bless Travis and what he had to endure.

I can only imagine the physical abuse that this hot tempered convict and her giant meat-hooks-for-hands meted out behind closed doors, but because of the stigma of being an abused male, Travis would have been too embarrassed to tell anyone about it. :moo: I think that text is in response to him finding out she secretly recorded their 'special conversation' from early May and she was threatening to release it. Jodi was the physical and emotional abuser in this relationship and it took a great deal of restraint on Travis' part not to engage, but everyone has their breaking point as evidenced by this text. Jodi knows that and she is a specialist at pushing people to their breaking point (just ask Nurmi, lol). Again, jmo.

Remember he also used the word "scamming" or "scammed" in those May 26th exchanges. So besides possibly threatening to release the sex tape to whoever, the felon had probably already done some type of illegal activity which Travis deemed as a scam of some sort.

Here is the 'plea deal' (or offer to plead to 2nd degree the week before the settlement conference):

http://grahamwinch.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/jodiariasngfile.pdf

Oh what fun to go down memory lane. Ugh.

I can only get to the beginning of page 4. I never understood (still don't) how her ridiculous accusations of Travis' degrading treatment of her, the dynamic of their relationship and the effects of that on Jodi......how on earth does that have anything to do with proving premeditation???

And FGS #4 the timeline PROVES it was premeditated. Stolen gun. Gas cans. How many hours did you have to drive to get there to kill him, Jodi? Maybe Einstein doesn't know the definition of premeditation but I do.
