I agree. Those MILLIONS could be used for much needed and underfunded social services. The people of Arizona need to do the changing of the laws, though. Wouldn't Jodi feel honored to have a law named for her if this is the catalyst for change? Negative attention is what she craves.

Once again:

Population of Maricopa County, AZ: 4.009 mil as of 2013 according to the census (Google search)

Cost of Trial: $2.5 mil and counting.

Taxes in the county and state are earmarked for specific things, the money spent on this trial is already there.

$3 and some change per person, over the course of this trial, is nothing.

Maybe the courts should charge out of state MSM who want to video court proceedings "for profit"? That would cover the cost.

I don't see anyone in my state complaining about it, except the Pro-CMJA camp.
